well having problems, that it hangs, dont save anything to your phone memory, just saved your numbers, and messages, do master reset, but make sure that all files xfered to memory card, and it will make you phone faster, regards to reboot issue, just have patience,. hope se will have software update. to fix the issue, but can anyone help on where can i download some of the themes ive lost. ive forgot to xfer them to my memory card, the sound scape theme, and forgot the other one . the white phone that has rain drops.. just loves its animation on to the phone, check out zedge.com for themes on to the phone,,, lot of cool thmes

please can somoene help me ? i bought the sonyericsson w 910i yesterday in brussels .Everything was working fine ....until i did a software update , i lost almost all my phone languages , just according to sim and english staid !there was also an error un the update because while transferring to my phone it gave an error message and i have to disconnect my phone ! can somoene help me i just want my phone languages back and i tried already everything ..........thanx

totaly wasteee...please dont buy this phone i bought 2months back, no sound in loud speaker, dead slow... useless model only good to hear songs.. but waste

i have had this phone for around 8 months now and when i first saw it, i thought....swish, i loved the phone.......the music is great i believe, very loud.....the memory is good allowing 8gb............but once the honeymoon period was over, i had a couple of gripes with it.........
firstly........the phone keeps on crashing and turning itself off and restarting itself and having the red light of death....this is the most annoying thing yet there is no software to fix this i dont think..........
the second thing is that i have an 8gb mem card in there and it recognises it no sweat. See i listen to a lot of music and have about 1800+ songs on there........but when i listen to music for longer then an hour i get a sense of deja vu, like i have heard this song llike 20 minutes before hand.............
not to mention the thousands of tims it keeps on saying playback failed.....its quite annoying!!

Why get this when you can get a K850 with Walkman3.0 ,great camera, world HSDPA,and better build quality

GPS stands for Global Positioning System, which is like a Melways on your phone, give you direction by voice and a map on your handset.
This handset does have the shaker control, and yes you do still have to push in the walkman key.
Its not a bad little phone, however, LCD is very delicate and prone to breaking (not covered under warranty) and is also known for software glitches.
All in all... pretty great phone for the younger ones.

Hey After reading those reviews here some of them were true and some were not.
Mine was bought on the month of June 2008 at the sony ericsson shop at the Mall here in Phil.
-Reboot Problem
TRUE - that the phone will suddenly reboot or restart like a computer, I already tried to update my phone from their website but after that it still not fix with the reboot thinge.
-Battery
FALSE - that the battery is not good. After using it about 2 months, the battery work's fine. It last 2 days with me while playing music and texting.
-Keypad
FALSE - that the keypad will break, after 2 months its still fine.
-Hang/Lagging
TRUE - that sometimes when i'm texting it will start hanging and looks like to reboot, but what im doing is just to press the walkman button to stop the hang and will not restart.
-Net Browsing
TRUE - that the web browsing is somewhat good. I can friendster,yahoomail,and google.
-SPEAKER
TRUE - that the loud speaker where not so good compare to the w850. But I still like it. Because it still produce nice loud sound!
-Memory
TRUE - that the phone memory is enough with 20mb, and expandable to 4 gigabytes M2 memory card.
-Camera
TRUE - it don't have a flash but it still catch a good picture.
-Screen
TRUE - that the screen is upgraded to a higher pixels. I can watch movies with a good image or quality and large screen.
SO In my conclusion, the phone is great but with the reboot problem which is remained not solve I prefer to all of you not to take the risk if you don't have the patience with that problem.
But for me I am already used to it and waiting for the software upgrade to fix that problem.

i just bought this phone and it worked very well...............until i did a software update on the sonyericsson site after 55 percent i got an error and i restarded updating , but same problem , after that i all my phone languages disapeared exept one , altough the written languages staid . Can anyone tell me what to do ? I just want my phone languages back . note that the site told me after the first error update that i had the latest software version on my phone but it stopped and gave an error at 55 percent !!! Can somoene help me ????thanx

ahmm just to ask does this phone can hold a 16gb m2 card? because im planning to buy one, i dont to compress my songs, due it will lower the quality, what whats makes me frustated on to the phone, it reboots automatically, and go back to its default theme.. anyone can help me to solve this problem?? yet i love the phone. very sleek, cool!!! err just upset do theyre already phone which has similar features/ yet improved... SOB..

Kevin Le, 19 Jul 2008Omg. i bought this phone two months ago and it was working ... morehey, no worries. im also using this phone, my phone's 2mths old. its quite common for sony ericsson phones (depends on luck too). mine also kept shutting itself down and refusing to obey me, and 'freezing' itself all the time. sometimes it can even 'hang' when i slide the phone too quickly. (sometimes had to resort to taking out e batt cos pressing any other buttons didnt work). sent it for repair but they couldnt find anything wrong with it. i guess it has got to do with the internal filmware and the internal system of the phone. ive heard that SE's cybershot phones are more 'solid'. (my bro's K850 fall down 2 flights of stairs can function better den mine). most of my friends are also using this phone and well, seems like most experience this kind of stuff too. if ure warranty is still valid, i guess maybe u can try sending it to the service centre :)

how do i manually lock the phone? mines stopped locking when it's closed and when you open it you have to press a button for the screen to come on which is a bit strange beacuse it worked ok before.
is there something in the settings that would help with the locking?
