Awww.. what a pity. Sony should have made it convenient to switch between the flight and normal modes without having to switch the phone on and off. Thanks very much for your replies! :)
Yeah, I agree, the battery life is poor. But I dont mind charging my phone every 1-2 days. No phones in the world are perfect. Each has its own flaws. In my opinion, theres no other slim phone as affordable (in pricing) and as advanced as the w910i to this date. So, I'm really happy with this phone.

Is the speaker loud enough. i have read one article about this phone saying that its sound from the speakers is very soft

I have a K800i and to toggle b/w flight and normal mode, and various other modes, press the on/off button. This will bring up a list of modes you can set your phone to.

I just want to share my tips about this phone with all users and anyone who is considering buying this phone. I own it for 4 weeks now, I got problems for the first week only, not any more, and here the tips:
1) free your phone memory at minimum 50% free. move all the themes, music n video to ur mem card
2) ppl usualy think large capacity memory card is an issue, in fact, the capacity is not, but it apply the same principal, keep the memory card apporximately 30% free, do not load it full
3) using DEFRAGMENTING in window to defrag your files in memory card, THIS GREATLY improve phone speed n prevend freeze and shutting down issue (cus freezing is the result of memory overloaded and restart is action to free memory)
4) update you software.
I must say i've known all the problems of this phone before i bought it, but still i believe there is solution for these issues. and there is.
I have no regret buying it, i love the design, features n everything. Though, i must agree that baterry life is rather under the standard bar. i don't know may be i got a crap chinese battery for my phone.
But all in all this is a great phone, i love it

Most of the issues (Battery dying too quick, sluggish speed, random restarts) you guys are having can easily be remedied if you guys just upgraded your firmware. Please do your research before you bash this amazing handset.

i bought this phone a few months ago but i had never problems with it. the battery life is good and everything works.
so no problems with my phone and it's certainly better then the nokia 5610

I've been havin this celly for 3 months now. its true dat it has sum probls like suddenly switches off, n at d baterry, doesnt last more than 1 day n a half. but despite this, i do love it!!!
