To fix the restart issues update your phone's firmware to R1FA035 or R1FA037. The last one is a dutch branded version, but you wouln't notice.
It is recommended (even by Sony Ericsson) to rewrite your phone's firmware once in a while.
You can update or rewrite your firmware to R1FA035 version with Sony Ericsson Update Service witch can be found at Sony Ericsson's website.
If you have a branded version of the phone (let's say, a Vodafone branded one), it is recommended to unbrand it and run generic firmware written by Sony Ericsson.
I have two W910i, both running R1FA035 firmware and I have no restarts or other issues with them in normal usage.

i have had this phone for like a year and a half..it didnt give me any problems at first but for the last 6 months it has been freezing on me,phone would turn off on its on,sometimes it would take ages to dial out,i think its got something to do with the theme on the phone,but i wouldnt recommend any1 to get this,3 of my mates have this and its all the same fault.

My Restart Problem Is Some Solved.Before One Month It Restart 6 times In a day. But not now in a week. Its restart 1 time in a week. I think over all its a Good Phone.

Had this phone for 14 months only now has give me problems, screen flashes intermitanly in 16 colour model, possibly flex cable problem. Phone restarts still randomly even after the firmware upgrade. Phone is soft, cannot wait till my contract is up and rather go for the Nokia 5800

Iv had a w910 for a year and of that year its been in for repairs for 6 of those, its always turning off and the buttons stop working its been sent in 3 times for repairs on the buttons and after always breaks again within a week,, the service of sony ericcson has been useless I wold never buy another one again

Why W910i is not in the list of mobitv, where other sony ericsson brands are listed with lower config.

Brought a SE W910i yesterday, I installed sum themes in my m2 card nd my current theme was in m2 card, I did a master reset of all by removing my m2 card. The problem is dat only Se logo is shown and walkman starting screen is shown when the set starts up but then Can't c anything on da display, it's completely empty. sum1 plz help me out...:(

I have used that phone and to me its camera was great, when you compare its picture quality of 2mp to that of nokia N73 which has 3.2mp you find that sony ericsson's better. Besides the way it displays its pictures when put in slide mode is amazing backed up by any tone of yo choice. Try d original w910

i've been using this phone for the last 1.8 years. at first I was disappointed. There are not much features. camera is poor, audio quality is ok, display is oK. the build quality is poor. my phone got discolored just after few months. But it has been working fine for the last 1.8 yrs. Battery life is very good. It restarts some times....
If you are thinking of buying this phone now.. then i would say NOOOO.. there are loads of phones with more advanced features and cheaper than this phone..

d update iz def d soln to d restart problem...buh i 1nce had d problem of it nt choosn internet setns...pls wn tryn to use a neu memory card 4mat it very wel.dis causes d fone to breakdown...

my screen cant be dsplay. so i cant see anything or read msg. hwever the systems is still works, if you call me, the phones is wroking. i dont know y... please help me..

Good one, but not good in out speaker sound and camera.
Camera seems to be VGA. Apart from these issues, everything is perfect.
