its a really nice phone, but the screen is 256K n not 16 million colours. According to mobile review, that makes quit a bit of difference.

If someone wants GPS you can get yourself HGE-100, it´s gps receiver and stereo headset in one. SE is the best :)

Ready to book here in Sweden for 470 euros!
The fact that it is a walkman phone doesn´t make it inferior to non-walkman phones. The other futures are the same with the other phones but the music-features are on higher level, same with the cybershot phones, everything is the same but the camera options are in the centre

Why? Why a great phone as this and still in the 'W' series, does it use Memory Stick Micro and not the Pro Duo type?
It got all the great features but I would prefer if Sony Ericsson come up with phones like this with the Memory Stick Pro Duo since I used it with my W800.

i don't really use my cell phone to listen to music, only occasionally but are most SE handsets known for playing music more than anything??

hi! I'm really interested in this handset but what exactly do you mean when u say this is a Walkman phone? does that mean all the other features and performance of the handset aren't that great?

This is a Walkman phone so the camera features and function may not be too good. Dont expect much in this area. I was at CommAsia 2007 today and played with the actual working set and the 2.4" screen is kickass, surprise that the build of the phone is really good. worth a second look when it comes out. Music wise its a Walkman phone nuff said.

This appears to be the upgrade to the W850. Thank goodness they have improved the directional pad. Hopefully they have also found a solution to the cracking of the number keys. Unfortunately we're seeing substandard video recording and stills photography. This is a high-end phone; SE must maintain standards.

Amazing. i really like it but the only thing thats lack is the same mega pixel camera. come on! we've seen enough of this is every new sets of each brand. extend the size of camera to atleat 5 mega pixels.
