I think this phone definately lacks a lot considering the times we are in.
What happen to camera for video calls, wifi, edge, hscsd etc

People People please lets not be blinded by the size of the memory on this phone.. Where is the CAMERA. HOw can they do this to us.. I hope they are reading this and can see that camera is a must. i have a w800i and everyone that i know is impresset by it. ITs the best mp3 best camera best radio and more more stuff. Camera is a must i would like to get it but i cant because there is not camera sorry...

is dis da best phone from SE so far? gr8 fone, all SE have to do is to include WLAN e.c.t. and if ya want a camera, if any of ya gonna get this phone upgrade den carry ur old fone wid ya but really if ya think about it ya dnt need a camera, reli, dat jst makes a mobile bulkier, jst gt a pocket sized 1!

This phone would definitely benefit from a cybershot camera. It looks a lot nicer than the K800, has 3g and is based on the symbian platform. Pure class but please combine a camera with the follow up model SE

Hello this mobile-phone is wonderfull. it has all the features for a music lover. Though it has no card slot but the in built memory is enough to quinch the thirst of the user. Some how the beauty and functionality would have been enhanced if there was a camera in it. Yah,... that is what is lagging in it. A camera in it, will be of great use.

i have a k750 and i am ery proud of it...but i will sure sell it 2 buy myself a w950...this phone rockz, it's da best ever... i don't need a camera only 3g..but still it is a lil disadvantaje that it has no camera...

well comphrehensive opinion jay.. well done. I think the other reason why se doesn't include camera is that to make the price to be more affordable for public. They want to compete with Ipod!! they need to do so. Not only that, well... after all.. camera in a phone is not really needed (i used to think that it is needed, so i bought K750, but after i got it, i used it more of a mp3 player)

am sure in carphone warehouse it sez late october i think i'm nut sure and if i remember rightly is says something in the new catalogue that it has 3g technology?? can anyone explain?

this phone is great!!!I have camera on my phone but I have used it 5 times :-).Camera is not so important.If you want to make a photos go and buy a device for photographing.So this phone doesnt miss the camera but miss something called WLAN,EDGE and VIDEO CALL camera.Maybe is SE politics not to produce a phone with EDGE and UMTS together.

If only they put the cybershot function with 3.2 cam, 16x digital zoom and the software in this baby... Then I would certainly buy it, even for 500 pounds. PLZ SE... LISTEN TO ME:
Cybershot + Walkman = winning the market over from nokia... PLZ, but they also should include Wlan

I think I lost the point on you when I said 'credit-card sized' cameras. Sony's very own Cybershots fit the bill quite nicely even.

hey , mr no camera , first of all , I think builtin camera is really kool , now u can capture the moements at the spot , yeah one can buy a camera witch can really produce really good results , but U wont be taking camera ever where you , so let the mobiles give u the mobility, yeah ofcourse if ur a proeffessional photographer or something then buy a good camera and I suggest a lil bigger then a credit card 4 even better results

It does lack some very basic front camera used for video calls. As for the usual camera - I don't care, I use a real one.
