you can try installing the generic software instead of your operators. my w950i had orange software, which was lil slow. i managed to remove orange's software and now have the generic software from se. now not only its faster than before, it never froze, it never did before anyways

you can listen to music in crowds. i.e. depending on the crowd you are in and the level of noise they can make, if you are talking about normal marketplace, it'll be really hard to hear anything off it unless you held it close to your ear.

as such there is no prob with the speakers, but they are a little low on volume. if you have been using any new nokias' like n73 and n95, you will find it quite low

im using this w950i from feb 07, its huge memory makes me real happy with its walkman.. if u not using its camera, and u looking for iPod replacement.. this thing could fullfil ur needs..

I am due an upgrade at the weekend and am interested in the W950. I have heard that the phone has speaker probs, does anyone else have the same problem. In general is a good option?

W950s successor the w990 is a good mobile. I read that its targeted against n93 in video recording. But i hate its form, swivel. Hard to open. But the design is delicious, like a blueberry cheese cake in coffee shops.

Batteries fully drain in 12 hours of play. Hard to arrange the play list and the PC software sucks

3 months is too much time to know abt a phone these r the wibes i got after using it
pros: touch screen, good resolution, looks stunning, awesome features, lastbutnot least it got 4 gb and a walkman to hangout with
cons: hmm it hangs all the time in the world , it will be restarted automaticaly now and then and says it is to improve the performance hm well i dunn know whether it is happening to all the customer in the world but if u brought it through vodafone in uk u might end up using this phone very soon its not worth fr the investment u put on it

C is standing for Chinese, not China. The only different is the version of the software loaded in the phone. You should get it since it just extra for you even you don't need it. Sure it has English in there as well.

I don't know why you want mobile phones with camera.you can buy a good camera with 300$.
If SE W950 had camera,it can't be THIN.
