hello,hey i just saw all the fetures of this phone all over net.but i wanna know , is this cell phone can play video file as long as 150MB+. what is like ... 350kb/sec ( 5.60mb per min with 176x144 or 320x240 pixl) ? because i loved to watch movies on my cell , anyone who owned this w950 can tell me is that a good fullscreen movie playerin it like nokia E70 at 25f or 29f/sec?

1: Is W950 Menu Goes Slow ?
the phones menu is not slow at all, BUT, when in the Walkman Player - when you first browse music it goes PainFuly Slow but performance improves after a while, it does this everytime you restart the walkman player. so its alroght - az long as you dont switch off your phone 2 much.
2: Is There Any New Firmware ?
there is new firmware, but when i try 2 update it says i have the latest, when i definately know i dont! (i think its a sony ericsson network problem, i dunno)
3: Did You Test The QVGA Java Games [ 320x24 ] ? Do They Run Full Screen ?
i've downloaded loads of games (sky force, bowling, pool, etc..) and they take up all the screen, its Magnificent, i even have sega genesis games running on there, sonic, streets of rage etc, but its hard to play them, with the touchscreen

SE would'nt release a CAMERA atatchment 4 w950 - I 'Think' their marketing plan is to release an upgrade to the w950 with more multimedia i.e. camera, wifi, etc.. after they make allot of money from the w950
they will get money from Me and others who love this phone Now, and when they release the upgrade even More Money from u who want a Camera and other features!

Jake, why would you need a camera attachment? Isn't that what digital cameras are for? A digital camera will take better pictures than any phone camera. If you want a camera on your phone, buy virtually any other phone!

HOW TO TURN 3G OFF!!
go to: main menu - tools - control panel - connections - mobile networks
then press 'More' and select 'GSM/3G networks
there you will see the choices between
GSM only
3G only
GSM and 3G
choose the one you want - press done, done again and thats it

i can compare it to the Nokia 3250 for you
Result - The nokia absolutely destroys the w950 on loudness - badly -
2 of my friends have 3250's and its no point (For Me) trying to play music when were in the same room - bcause the w950 is no match 4 it
its alright if your in a sort of quiet room - but compared with every other phone i've seen, the w950 the QUIETEST
1 more thing
the screen looks and works AMAziNGly - its a pleasure to do anything on it, its Touchness*** is PerfecT - no probs yet - TouchScreen all the way!!
My biggest problem with it is
It lags (a bit) when using the WALKMAN PLAYER - to browse music, but it is a SmartPhone - and a really cool gadget
jus wanna add - i've got Sega games running on it (soz it just came to mind)

the w950 is NoT lounder than w900, the w900 has a louder Speaker :(

to kamar, hey wanna know wats the max volume like.. say against a motorola E1000 or nokia 3250. i'm pretty stocked about this phone already. plus any of u guys have any problem with the touch screens ? no failing from the touchscreen yet? thanks for ur value inout :)
