Well yes there are some core thing missing eg wifi and camera but to be honest purely it kicks the nokia N91 in the nuts as that is one of the ugliest phones i have seen for a while.

to juls ,,yes you can put your sim straight in..I hope you like the phone and dont just dismiss it and give yourself chance to get used to it..You may find it takes a little time to respond to your button press if you press it again it does 2 operations,,its got 4 gb in it which is new in flash memory for mobiles and altho you think its been done before they were using hard drives.I like me dance music and find it right up my street so dont know wat its like in classical music etc

The design is great, and I appreciate some of the nice features on board. But really it is slow to use with the touch screen, and it twists my fingers because the controls are all over the screen. The back button in the corner is jumping back many steps. Guess I have to use two hands, and pen, which is not what I expected. So many opportunties for accidental key presses: Menus are small, and many side keys when you hold the handset tight.

to, nick
well you can choose the bit rate in disc-phone sftwre, for exmple while ripping mp3, use 96kbps, which will reduce size of the song, not qulaity like this you can have more songs in ur walkman....

This is generally a question regarding the disc-phone SE software.
when you rip the music from a cd, can u select what format it takes.
im more interested in as many songs as poss, so the e-aac+ format is prob the best for me, so i was wondering can i choose between the music formats (acc, eaac, wma, mp3)
