My choice is either W950 or M600, but very disappointed as neither one have camera. Hey Sony, give us some choice, at least one of this two nice phone of yours....

3g does not mean only video call.The function from 3G exactly is that you can more speed over transfer data.So you can download faster,you can connect easily with internet.You can look at TV mobile.
So if a phone cannot make videocall because no camera,you cannot say this hp is not 3G.
You can read over 3G in many website.

So many questions...ok...touch keypad (like LG Chocolate)?...release date?...WALKMAN ver 2.0?...wat video formats can it play?...stereo bluetooth?...flight mode apart from just the music music?...has it got handwriting recognition?...umm...overall...this is a very nice fone...4GB is gud...so far...but yeh...it's reali good...

Be patient,sometimes patient people get somethings better.
If you need symbian,maybe you can try M600? Or if you want more for music,you can try W900 or W850?
Before you get the W950.
What do you think?

i was soooo excited when i saw this phone on the sony ericsson website and have been saving up for it for ages and i really wanted to buy it but it hasnt got a camera so im not sure if i will now!!!
If this phone had a camera it would be perfect.

i contacted o2 and they told they will try to have this headset on their network by end of this month or start of november....i wish it is true and it doesnot gets more delayed.......

It seems that both of the reasons are childish.
I think SE has tehnical problem or business strategy? But if too late than it can loss the momentum.
May I know, if you don't mind,which SE phones have you ever used?

I don't know about the situation in your place;I have some thinkings,maybe one of them can solve your problem temporary until this W950 is released:
- you take prepaid when your old contract is finished and than back to contract again with W950
- or you take lowest contract (of course that fulfille your need) and then upgrade it to higher price as W950 out (maybe they will give this alternative)
- or you take new contract (low price) and keep your phone now (which phone you use now?) and then upgrade it like option 2

I think SE will not launch this music phone soon . REASON: 1. they scared of nokia n91's great success. 2. Now the great n91 is coming with 8gb and with advanced sound quality. Thats why SE not dareed to launch this stupid phone against GREAT N91 I POD KILLER.

Because they have aimed it at music lovers rather than camera freaks! If you want a camera get a k800!

Yep it's true :( I just phoned O2 and asked them when it's out, they said the 15th of January 2007.
This is a pain in the a*** as I wanted to renew my contract and get this handset next month :(
They will not let me renew my contract next month and then update the handset in January, they say I have to do it at the same time :(
Hmmm so what phone do I go for now then?!?!?!
