With what purpose are those 4 GB of memory ? ... only for music ?
Not a good suck a good idea. Without a camera they are usless.

With the lack of the camera, I think, half of the consumers are not willing to buy it.

This is a great mobile phone from Sony Ericsson. It has all the attributes a great walkman phone should have. Too bad Sony Ericsson did maintain its headsets connectivity the same way as the w800 and k750. Due to the nature of mobile phones, you'll have to constantly put it in and out of your pockets which will take its toll on the connector. It would have been much better if they had a separate port for the headset (or atleast for the music function). So far the w950 performance exceeds the Ipod with regards to supporting Bluetooth stereo headset being able to have an equalizer on the interface itself unlike Ipod where you need to preset the audio files equalizer from the Itunes. With respect to N91, it is also a great music phone, however it uses microdrive. Microdrive has moving parts and if the pin is not rested and you accidentally drop the N91 there is a possibility that it may be damage. Ipod have already perfected this technology while N91 its still a rookie on it. In addition, a microdrive expends more power as compared to a flash drive which w950 uses. This also explains for the poor talk time of N91. If you are going to use a music phone, you sould take into consideration power consumption and toughness of the unit. N91 is great all around mobile phone, 2 megapixel camera, WIFI, 4gigabyte microdrive. If you want an all around phone, buy the N91. If you want a music phone, buy the w950. If you want to listen to music, why bother just buy an Ipod.

Blackberries don't have cameras, but everyone loves them. So why can't Sony Ericsson bring out a phone without a camera then?

Eventhough the camera is not good for actual photography, still we can share some good moments with each other where a digicam is not needed.
For example we can't pre-expect a funny moment around and roam with digicam. But when it happens we can use our mobile cam to capture the moment and share with others.
So its better to have a camera onboard which doesn't need to be high quality.

Your choice depends on what you need and use.So if you want smartphone,music and multimediaphone without camera; W950 is one that you can choose.
But don't choose HP that has everything but the function aren't maximal of you never use it optimally.I mean that's better without camera than poor quality camera.

Dope phone...no need for cam... get a digi cam for pics...useless having 2 mp when you can have 5 or 6 with actual camera

this is a great phone
but at the end of this year comes phone that looks like this one or it will be the same but will have a camera:))
