for those who want a camera in a fone then i guess this one is not for you...... if you really like a fone with 3MP then go with k800 or other fone with at least 3MP cameras.......

a 3g phone doesnot have a camera.....hard to believe. huge internal memory.....the only satisfaction for the customers! but keep in mind this is the age of 3 megapixel cameras.

How can anybody have anything bad to say about this handset. If you want a camera, buy a digital camera. This is a music lovers phone and its going to sell big!!

hi everyone
does anyone knnow when this phone is available in the uk and on what networks? the carphone warehouse states on their website september but i dont believe them!!
also does anyone know if or how you get Office applications to use on this phone? i would like to use this phone to browse the intenet and look at jpegs, pdf'd and word documents!!
any help appreciated

A nice tip 4 all SE users:
To start, u know that the sound loudness vary when u play songs from different sources,for instance,when u play a song from the file manager,it will be the quitest sound the phone can give,while when u play the same song from the Walkman player(W series) or the media player (k750,k700,d750,etc..)the sound will be higher....but if u want realy LOUD sound do the following:
1.go to settings,then 'sounds and alerts' tab
2.set the song u want to play as a ring tone
3.now go to 'ring volume' and set the volume to 8 (max.) nd wait for a second or so until the song plays....
so,wut do u think..U can use this method to impress ur friends nd dnt tell them the secret...

There are no more news about this phone. But you will see. This phone will be the best mobile phone 2006/2007.

I desperately need a phone replacement and this is a very suitable for me. I've been using the LG8130 since last year and the VGA cam sucks even though it comes handy at times. I simply do not have the money to spare for W850 or the patience to wait for W950. Any suggestions guys?

I agree in essence with what you said below, but as a music lover, this was my ideal choice. Until I noticed the lack of camera. I was blown away by the design, 4gb memory, touchscreen, Symbian 9.1, this phone had it all.........But the bottom line is, I'm obviously not the only one who has got kinda used to having a camera to hand 24/7, its come in handy many times. And I think this is the same feeling being stated over and over again on this thread. This phone is perfect except for the lack of a camera.
Think about it, who exactly is the target market for the W950? Technologically savvy Music Lovers. Why on earth would this sector want a camera on their phone any less than anyone else? It makes no sense.....until you think about it a little harder......IMHO its all just clever marketing rather than aiming at a certain sector - SE will probably wait until they've shifted a lot of P990s and then release a W950 with camera (W950i maybe)....If the W950 had a camera it would have seriously dented sales of the P990 because not everyone needs WiFi, and apart from the camera, thats the only real difference except design (which the W950 also wins hands down for me).....
So because of the camera issue and the fact that like many others, I don't wanna be carrying several seperate devices with me, I reckon I'll go for a W850 until the W950i comes along!

The people have a problem with camera, simply go with other phone (nokia, motorola, SE or samsung)
This phone is intended for special and small group of people who wants sound quality over other features, and the people who seek a camera simply isnt in this group, go with other phone!
You have a lot of camera phones in the market, choose one and buy it

This fone is sucks, its useless without a camera. Firstly, it's a Mobile Phone, camera's aren't essential, necessary nor standard. Secondly, it's coming to the market to compete with ipods and similar mp3 players. I personally think an mp3 player that can make calls is great. i have an ipod already, but will definitely buy this phone. It's sleek, smart looking design is very appealing.

I think this phone looks great!
seriously who needs a camera on a mobile phone. Yes its handy but for taking real pictures no mobile is ever going to be up to the standard of digi-cams. This is definatly aimed and will be warmly welcomed by music lovers and is a much nicer alternative to nokia's offerings
