This phone could not even be used in my basement apartment, it has no 850 band! Other than that it's a nice phone!

Nice. Sarcasm, irony - I love it! I genuinely believe that all the W960's nay-sayers have never actually held one. Is it just me or do you find it hard to back to a phone with standard button based navigation now? I picked up my W850 the other day and it just felt so wierd to have to use a d-pad again...

For a start, posting your comment twice will not make it any more true. I use my W960 one-handed all the time. It's easier with 2 hands, but it's possible with one. Most people I know couldn't care less about edge coz the phone supports 3G. And after the N93 and original N95's software problems and general performance issues crippled Nokia's credibility, I'll stick with a company I can trust. If you don't like Sony Ericsson phones - STAY THE HELL OUT OF THE FORUM...!!!

Hey SE fans, stop soughting about the touchscreen . what this does that you can't use w960 with one hand, u are forced to use both hands. Plus it does not supports edge, N81 8GBor N95 8GB is far better.

Not really. I had a problem with mine yesterday, wasn't turning on but I ran SE's update service and it works perfectly now. Other than that I've not really heard of any major problems with it...

just read this some where hope it helps
there's an app called qflashlight ......it helps in using the W960 led as a flashlight....however, you'll have to keep the camera button pressed...

It all depends on what you're looking for in a phone. Some things to think about - will the touch screen bother you? Some people really don't like it, but once you get used to it I find it indispensable. How important is the camera to you? Remember the W910 has only a 2mp camera with no flash and no autofocus. Also, if you've enver used a smartphone before then the W960 may be a bit confusing at first.
Bottom line - if you're looking for a simple phone with great music capabilities go for the W910. If you want something jam-packed with features and don't mind taking a few days to get used to it then the W960 is the phone for you. Hope that helps...
