I Backed Up My Data And Using PC Suite I Went To Update Service Icon Done What Was Asked Of Me But It Said I Had The Latest Softare Installed So Clicked Continue Anyway And Said Something About Clearining All Settings. If This Updates And Nun Of The New Stuff U Guys Say Are Meant To B There Dont Happen Then What Do I Do?

What's all the fuzz about not been able to use the phone with only one hand?
The SE W960 doesn't have a joystikc but instead it has an navigation-wheel on the left side of the phone. You can easily navigate with one hand.

My W960i with the old firmware needs 1min and 10 seconds to boot up!
So with the new firmware the boot up time is impoved by 10sec !

Ahh, gsmarena should make a edit function, I always forget something. Anyone doing the new firmware upgrade should use the Sony Ericsson PC Suite to make a backup of the phone, it does a good job of backing up most, but not all of the stuff and settings,

One more update to my list below on improvements in the new firmware, the phone also boots up faster, when you turn it on. I timed it and it took 60 seconds to turn on from the second I hit the power button.

Seems only so far that the generic firmware is out, but if you are not sure which firmware you need you can go here http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/support/updateservice/updateservicesoftware/key.DownloadGeneral.SonyEricssonUpdateService_21839?cc=gb&lc=en to get the update service program. When you get that installed just fallow the instructions it provides, they are quite easy to fallow. So far for me, with the new firmware, I have had no problems, and I am liking the speed improvements and the new SSX 3 game is tight.

Did look for the changelog from sony ericsson on this new firmware before I upgraded but didn't find anything. If someone finds it or finds some info on this firmware straight from sony ericsson, please post a link. I would actually like to know my self what are all the things they did. For now you can read my posts below on all the new things that I found that are different and new from the previous firmware.
