When i bought da W960i, from tha store the staff told me to charge it for 5 to 8 hours for the first time.

I noticed too that the Virtual Qwerty Keyboard is sometimes off when i try to post in www.howardforums.com. But when i use it to post in this forum, it works fine!
About the # sign i aint know what to say... I have no problems using the keypad.

Thats right Next Level, i wont miss not having EDGE. 3G is more important and coincidentally, my phone network system only supports 3G so its a match made! 3G is more commonly used(of course depending on which country you are in) as of my place, 3G is the future!

My w960i also lack chinese software. The software hasnt arrived yet as this set is still new. The store has promised me to install for me once they have gotten it. Its most convenient for those brothas and sistas who want to recv and send text in mandarin!
As for the battery usage hours. 16 hours of first charge is pretty adequate bro!
Gradually, the battery performance varies according to the usage pattern of the user. And also due to the settings you prefer on ur phone. Certain users might find it lasting, and some fall short of the sustainance. The w960i is pretty good at the battery performance!

I here by pronouce this phone as the KING of mobile world. this is wicked man... after all i waited 6 months for it. but it was worth it.. so far everything is going perfect. and there is a problem with my battery :( it doesnt finish offff... i tuned songs and was playing for 4 hourse,and the battery just got down by 30%..., awesome battery life.. or may be its because i charged it for 16 hourse by the day of purchase.i dont knw.. but battery life is wicked..

Help! A lot of times when I text, I seem to get a "#" sign when I want to put a space. How do I get rid of it. As well as, is there any way I can calibrate the touch screen? It seems seems a lil bit off when I try to use the QWERTY pad.

Dani dude you betta go fo' W960i. The guy MSA is totally right. I've read many complaints about the K850 in many forums. The W960 is da real sh!t! Naw SE is working on a new Firmware Update fo' W960i and it will be more stable and better! And i hope much faster.

The EDGE is faster than GPRS but the 3G is much faster than both.
If i remember well the guy Tsepz N81 told that the EDGE is for those in USA where their area doesn't support 3G, or something like this. I'm not sure, Tsepz N81 plz correct me
My area, where i live, doesn't support EDGE and HSDPA but only GPRS and 3G and so the W960i lack of EDGE don't mind me. I use 3G and i'm pleased by its speed.

trust me mate, i have both phones
the w960 is the better buy, k850 is known only for the camera but that too is disappointing, definately go for the w960 you wont regret it

is having no EDGE a disadvantage?
what does edge actually do? i understand its just faster when you download stuff or when you receive multimedia. is that right?

Bro rmvb is real media vbr.
And i wanted when i get this fone put Dbz episodes on it and al the episodes is about 5120 mb. Feel me?
That why i wanted to know much more about the convert cd:)
If it cannot be converted then have to buy one:(
So do ya know homie that the cd can convert real audio/video vbr into mp4?
And can it make the memory of the file smaller from 35mb to 30? ( i dont know how do ya call that)

The PC suite covers basically two parts.
1)basic syncro (for calendar/mail/contacts/notes etc)
2) Fast file transfer(for music/video/pictures etc)
And there is also a useful media manager that assist in ripping, encoding and transfering the files into the glorious and volumptious 8GB on board the w960i!
I dont drink or smoke either! aint got no time or money to be wasting on those!
