Yes, this phone can run .sis applications but only which are for UIQ OS. That means if u ttry to run any Nokia's .sis application, it won't work in this. There are many other .sis apps for UIQ.

This phone can store unlimited SMS (depending on the memory available)... This phone doesn't have a memory slot so obviously u cant store SMSs on the memory card, however u can store ur messages in the 8GB flash memory.

Anonymous, 03 Aug 2009is it true that this phone hangs up/lag when storage gets n... moreive had my w960i for over 2 years and its never hung up on me . i have over 1500 songs and 12 films on it still runs like a peach in fact im for another 1 (BECAUSE IT LOOKING WORSE FOR WEAR)hope this helps

hi all,
i am interesting to buy this phone in few coming days, at GSMARENA's site it's price is only € 180 but in italy where i live it's price is 249€... :-( unfortunately italy is too expensive country than other european countries.. at moment i am using W850i i have some problems from this phone that it does not store more than 800 SMS and the other one is that i can not send SMS by typing my KEY BOARD after connecting it to pc.. becoz this phone's software does not has a feature like that... but nokia provides this option to send sms by pc from mobiles but i do not like nokia phones becoz they are too too slow
now i would like to buy W960i plz plz plz anyone tell me how many sms it can store or can i copy my sms in memory card.............?????
please inform me SE users

regina, 26 Jul 2009i have this problem with camera,seems like the setting does... moreregina, press the camera button, press setting in the camera and scroll to effects then u choose 'off'. the camera will come back to normal. i guess this will help.
