I gett it all now. It make sense to buy this phone( i still dont have the money for it right now!!)
But i really want this phone. I kwon now every single detail about this phone ( just the things i want to know)
But there are 3 things:
Can ya tell me :
How is the menu for the video playa?
Can it play all types of mobile games ( race, sport, fight, adventure, ect.?
Like all sites said that it support types of videos, mp4, 3gp, real video, ect. What i want to know about this shizzle is: Can it play all those videozzle what on all those site say?

I just visited the Sony Erricson show room here in Bangalore.
Price for the cell : Rs 27k+
Is that right? I enquired in some other mobile stores -although they dont have W960i, they claim it to be priced at 22k+ (less than Rs.25k for sure).
Can someone confirm on that?
Also does it come with a blue tooth headset?

i think, it's just as minor.
w960 and p1i doesn't differ that much. actually i found that p1's screen and cam are slightly better than w960's. the differences that matters that you don't find in k750-w800 (since they are really identical in both cam and screen).

This phone is toss, it takes 87 years to load. The new graphics look horrible, no new applications. Not very good looking. Over-rated.

About da Wi-Fi, Da 960 doesn't support B & G but as far as i know the W960i can connect to a Wi-Fi 802.11g,n beacause of the Backwards Compatibility. Offcourse it won't transfer data faster than the B standart, but it will work. It's like the PS & PS2 games that play on da PS3.

There are lots of places to get router,go to Incredible Connection, HiFi Corp. , GAME, MACRO etc. . .
The difference between W960 and P1 isn't realy like the diff between K750 and W800. The P1 has a full rokr type QWERTY-keyboard, a normal media/music player, the BACK button on P1 is just below the scroll wheel (JogDial),and uses memory cards. Whereas W960 has a normal keypad, the new Touch Walkman3.0 media/music player, the BACK button is on the keypad next to the Walkman button,and it has 8GB built-in flash memory.
The Screens: both are same size BUT P1 has a flushed screen meaning the screen sits flatter or more back in the phone whereas W960 has a screen hard non-flushd screen so its sitting at the same level as the keypad,wish i could explain this better lol maybe Next L can.

i would just like 2 know where i'll be able 2 buy a wi-fi router @ what price(south africa) also: does this phone have the same screen as the p1i? and are the differences between the p1i and w960 as minor as the differences between k750 and w800

Your WiFi router may be set to G-standard, the W960 only supports B-standard whereas N95 supports both thats why it picks it up,make sure your router is set to B and G.

You have to create a Wi-Fi Internet Account and Group from the Control Panel, and then activate your W960i Wi-Fi and scan for networks and add a network to the created Wi-Fi Internet Group. But you must enter the same password in the accounts settings your Wi-Fi Router has.

I just got this phone but it wont connect to my internet at home. Does it only works in hotspots? I aso got the n95 and it picks up fine. can someone let me know whats up?

is GSMArena considering this phone as a flop that doesn't deserv to be reviewed??? coz the "REview" available is actually a PREview... lots of info lacking, and really very little details.. .
so sad... coz i used to rely on their reviews when looking for a phone...
