i hope it does come out sooner than later! i can't wait to buy this phone. in sony ericsson's website, it's expected to come out dec 7, 2007. I'm glad i didn't buy the n95 8G yet...always liked Sony Ericsson better than nokia. now i could store "heroes" and "gossip girl" on my phone.

Lol, im glad im not the only one in pain. When i pre ordred the handset online they stated 12th november now its jan 08 ! so if sony themselves say its coming out in december i will cancel my current order and buy direct from sony prob cost me more though

I believe they will sell it as late as they can within reason as close to christmas as they can. So that they don't compete with their own phone of the k850i becuase if people get a choice between that pphone and w960i i'm sure 9/10 people will go with this phone and then the k850i will just die out. I think therefore its jus marketing policy is why it is not out.
Actualy with the plastic casing i wudnt actually mind as much as they are far easier to replace then the metal case which is on the k750i which i have and dropped so many times that it just looks appauling. So as long as the case is easy to rpelace iw udnt rele mind.

Some web sites have said it will be released in January 2008. I mean, how stupid can you be to do that? From a marketing point of view, that's dumb! And how can you use the rationale that there's too much competition (Nokia etc...) to release during festive/xmas period? How can you release something this spectacular after the greatest "buying time" of the year, i.e., Xmas?

Great Phone! The only bad thing about this phone (only my opinion) is that it's made from cheap plastic (apparently) If so, i'm sure SE will fix this before it's December release. Better hurry up SE!

I wouldnt mind but i couldnt get another mobile instead of this now coz ive got my heart set on it and theres no others out on the market that i really like, so my only option is to sulk and wait for the beauty lol (:

Yesssssss sony ericsson pleae release the phone ASAP i am also loosing patience!!! i cant wait to get my hands on it!!! its like SE deployed some kinda strategy to make us crave the phone and want but hey whats not to like about this phone!!!! i hope as the person who said they working SE that the phone will be release on the 3rd is right and factual in their statement!!! SE W960i!!!!!!

the best Sony can do is advice its customers when the w960 could be bought !!! .... it has this obligation to everyone since its published to the public already at the web. Please give exact date so we can decide to wait or not !!! ...thus there won't be sore customers,!!!
