I hope SE is using all this time to add additional features such as HSDPA/GPS or improve some of the announced features.
I remember when SE used to innovate and Nokia used to follow. These days it seems like Nokia is setting the agenda

I was going for the w850i before my friend showed this one. WOW!!!!! It'll be great to have this phone by the end of this month - when exactly is the release date anyway?!!! C'mon SE - stop torturing potential and loyal customers and launch already!!!!

Yea, sorry SE, you guys unfortunately are taking far too long.
I live in Canada and am most likely going to have to pay a premium for this phone. But, I mean now I will most likely go with another phone or just keep my w810i for another year until the next years models come out. I belive making loyal customers wait this long for something is cruel! I honestly hope you guys flop now and lost major marketshare just like the PS3 because of your stupid marketing decisions.

iam very crazy to have this phone because it is simply a dream phone to have but the funny thing is that i might not have money to buy this at release but i will try to have this dream to be ful filled later i just love its display.hussam khan presents pakistani lovers of cells.

1) Have been waiting a very long time for this phone.
2) I get a new phone once a year around September/October time.
3) I sell my old phone during the Sept/Oct time too.
4) I currently have a W850i, which I'm selling.
5) This W960i comes out in December, whilst the K850i comes out in a couple weeks, which is about 1.5-2 months earlier.
6) The W960i is the ultimate phone package for my needs right now, but the K850i isn't too bad.
7) I'm thinking of getting the K850i now because 1.5 - 2 months is 1/8 - 1/6 of a year wait, which in turn, is too long a wait to support the purchase of the W960i.
8) Price is not a factor for me here.
9) K850i is less desirable to me, but W960i is a long wait.
10) I have other new gadgets to keep me happy.
11) I guess K850i it is then... as soon as it comes out I'm upgrading. Hopefully they have exclusive colours, or atleast a white or silver version for me to choose from.
The above post is for people in a similar situation and mindset as me. I'm not waiting, SE made a mistake releasing it in Dec. Sept/October is usually a great time for new purchasers, especially students and young professionals like me.

W960 awesome set as usuall nothing beats SE. No doubt W960 is unbeatable but the keypad should have had little space as it becomes easy to type while SMS that charm of typing without looking at the keys is missing. I am a big fan of SE and this is my 12th SE cell finally i have to compromise with K810i. I have used P1 but the qwerty keyboard is a bit tricky and one has to get use to it. Today is the age of technology and class, P1 has the best brains but ugly looks, ain't worth the cost and specially not an eye catcher.

hey, i was just comparing... SE is actually not taking much longer than Nokia... 6500 slide was announced 1 month before W960...
so.... SE W-PHONES RULZ!!!!

SE: wait long before it's available... but then have a long period to enjoy ur purchase...
Nokia: no need to wait, just buy it... (they are always ready to take ur cash...)but in less than a semester, ur phone will already be outdated... and don't speak in years here... the phone will probably be dead by this time...
nokias now have poor build quality... lots of squeaks... and paint goes off... and soo BIG in size...
go for something good... go for SE... they've got consistent quality nokia used to have...

this time, SE is really taking long...
i will still wait for it coz zctually, i have no plans for an immediate purchase...
but i guess they are waiting for christmas period to release it... i don't think SE is having problem to manufacture and release a first batch of the W960 by mid october...
anyway... just be patient, and you'll be sure not to regret ur purchase...
