I just want to say WAKE UP SE!!!!!!!!
i'm just wondering, why SE still do not launch this phone.... Nokia has already take away everything...N95 8GB, new expressmusic lineup, N81, New NGAGE gaming platform, and many more.....
first when i saw this phone, i'm sure that nokia would go to hell
but it changes when NOKIA show his ARMS.....
COME ON SE!!!! don't make shame on you!!!!

Yes you are right (sooner or later) I love SE and I want get this phone but when I think that it will be available in December it make me sad also when I think that N95 is already available with 5 mega pixel and this one will still 3.2 make me hesitated to buy it or not.
The new N95 will also have 8GB.
Do not get me wrong I will never buy a Nokia phone again but why SE doesn't bring to us a step forward phone in features than Nokia.
And when there are high level phones like W960 and K850 they will be available late in this year.
I am sure SE can do better than Nokia but I really do not understand the commercial plan of SE, look to K770 for example the last phone from SE I hope a better phones comes from SE than this.

Well, honestly, enough is enough!
Either SE intentionally pulling our legs, or they got serious problems with releasing this w960..
Yes, I am the owner of certain SE Walkman, and yes, I would desperately like to have one of this, but NO, I will not wait for it anymore, it is not my spouse-to-be to wait her to pronounce fatedly YES.
Obviously SE made a beginner's mistake - put this model on fire without being capable of releasing it in a decent time. Sorry to say this, but looks like Nokia with a N95 8GB will not lose time like SE. A time has come for SE to be punished for it's flippant behavior. To lose the market.
My condolences SE, you buried yourself alive.

I have been wanting to buy the SE W960i, Nokia E90 or the N95 for a while now. I have an SE P990i. I love my SE but even with firmware updates, my phone still hangs, apps are slow and battery life is bad. Maybe I am just getting tired of my phone.
Now with the new N95 8GB version soon to be released, I wonder if Nokia will be releasing an E90 8GB version, with a 5MP camera, next. That would be a great phone... We just have to wait and see. if thats not in the future, then I just have to wait and see which phone turns out to be better, the N95 8Gb or the SE W960i.... choices choices.

Don't you understand that the only reason why this phone is taking a long time for it to be released is because they want to solve all the issues of the phone ( ie. firmware problems or hardware problem) if you release it to the public ASAP then theres going to be lots of problems like SE S500i..

Smartphones like the W960, P1 and associated families have hardware acceleration and OpenGL ES and are capable of providing gaming experiences on a level similar to PSP, certainly somewhere between PS1 and PS2

Here in Singapore a few different shops plus SE shop mentioned that it'll be released in Dec. I trust them. Don't believe non-official websites.

well this phone is better then n81 in few aspects
1. it has a touchscreen (this is the biggest advantage)
2. it has better camera(well this is not so important)
3. it will have a great standby time (it is a se, how could he have a bad standby time? :D )
but n81 has his own pros (design and ofcourse, the graffics engine)

its a nice phone for me but lack of xenon flash and SE should be considered upgrade to 5MP ! i think i will buy it !
