Anybody knows out there how many RAM and ROM this unit has? This is very important to ensure the unit is quite fast.

I am so amazed at how people on this site take the posted official specs & toss them in the trash. They are either ignoring the specs or they can't read English. Then, after doing all that, they invent their own. If you do not believe the specs on gsmarena, go to Sony's website & check out the specs.
I say all this to address all the back & forth about what these phones have & what they don't have. People are arguing over something memory specs, camery specs, card slot, etc. Please check the specifications before you post your erroneous info; unless your intention is to fuel other people's anger.

After careful review of upcoming products versus currently available units including the iPhone, it would appear the W960 will be the replacement for my beloved S710a

i think tht sony should have put the 5mp on this phone because i think tht this phone is the last of the walkman series and the best sony ericsson phone ever...

an ipod killer has arrived...the w800i was named as the ipod killer but the W960i is surely the best of its kind.Music is what it is meant to be.....this 8gb phone surely is the best sony ericsson has ever produced.This phone being a walkman phone also has gr8 picture clariy with a 3.2 megapixel camera on the flip side and a secondry VGA Camera on the front side to enjoy videocalling ....Although being a touchscreen phone if one uses it carefully it can surely be the best phone youve ever used....so go ahead guys coz im even eager to see and use this gr8 phone

As usual now for the last two years the Sony Ericsson is making our lips getting sealed with a surprise following the other one.
the most important of them all is that this Hi tech machines are very much reliable when comparing with other expensive phones you pay hell from your blood to get them and you discover that they are hanging all times when used. This never happen in a Sony Ericsson, great phone, great choice of everything and reliable technology which is extremely important for building a reputation for this brand. Sweet. This is pretty much what the W950 should've been like, if it was it would've been a very popular selling handset. It's a nice thought that Sony actually listen to it's consumers about what their handsets should contain. Good job

Seriously.... wat the HELL are you gonna do with 120 gigabytes of internal memory?? ......its a PHONE not a COMPUTER!
dont you think 8 gigabtes is enough?? its a music phone, so it'll hold more than a thousand songs....
