And about the WiFi networks...in simple words...its just that W960i's WiFi [11 mbps] is a lil slower than 5800's WiFi [54 mbps]....but v lil....coz thts onli the connection speed!!
And if ur still not gettin the phone....u can try a site like ebay!!

my w960 works like a charm after 11 months of usage
i guess i'm lucky
i've dropped my phone several times and it still works great.
the touchscreen is perfect

crapest phone ever it busted on me in less than 1 yr... the touch screen died and u cant access anything including ur phone NUMBERS... my partner & i both got the phone same time and died the same time...
It got mpisture damage & i never had it in the bathroom or dropped it in water..
plus the its not very user friendly but music & sound is great.

DV, 29 Jan 2009According to your specifications, i think 5800 is the pefec... morewell where i live both of them aren't available. =( SE for some reason isn't available in the market and only a selected few nokias are available. i did manage to find one dealer with a 5800 but he's selling it for PKR 34,000/- roughly US$425. so i don't really know what to go for.
and as for the networks, i really don't know much about those technicalities hehe.

[m], 29 Jan 2009hmmm. thanks! what i'm specifically looking for is a phone ... moreAccording to your specifications, i think 5800 is the pefect phone for you...it has wifi...its an Xpress Music phone so it has a good Music Player....it has a large enough touchscreen....but it only has a 3.2 MP camera with autofocus and flash which i think is more than enough!!....or else if you can sacrifice touchscreen....then i would recommend you N82 [5MP with xenon flash]!!
All these specifications are also there in W960i but 5800 is way better coz its a newer model....then W960i has a lil small touchscreen...and the camera is okay but not that great....and also W960i's WiFi is slower than 5800 coz it supports only "b" networks whereas 5800 supports both "b" & "g" networks!!

DV, 28 Jan 2009I own a W960i and I personally feel that 5800 is definitely... morehmmm. thanks! what i'm specifically looking for is a phone with wifi, a very good music player, a really good cam with autofocus and flash, and preferably touch screen. it's pretty hard to find a phone with all those things plus be reasonably priced.

i think it's not a slow phone. it can handle multi-task well, you can get in-out menus easily by its browsing buttons. you can personalize this phone optimally, fit to young and mature users.

really good phone, treat it well and it will treat you good too. between 5800 and this phone, surely 5800 has better features but w960i will always stand out the crowd compared with 5800 as the expressmusic phone will be bought by many people.

when typing sms is slow ? my k770 and 850 is slow when typing msg ..
