this is my friend's phone n i tried it. its way too laggy! even when reading messages n stuff. n of course it lags at e music player. to me, its not very user friendly. as there are no dedicated arrow buttons but touchscreen all e way. however its screen is v big although i don really lik e interface. music quality is nice too. n e buttons r nice to press.

This is the most useless cell phone I've ever had...the W800i is easily better than this one!!!

there's no much difference between p1 and w960 the only difference i can see is that p1 has a full keyboard.

Crazy Worker, 15 Sep 2008As u said currently I had the latest firmware in my phone. ... moreit doesn't seem to be a hardware problem but a software one. why don't you try now REINSTALLING the firmware with seus and check if something changed.if you still have probs you should take it to a service center.

Re... moreyou might have an old firmware. check with seus and get the latest firmware i think it's R9K009, then see if everything is working faster. for the bluetooth problem, when you receive a file press open and when the file is open press save and choose the right place for your file, if you receive a file and press save it will last forever saving on your sms inbox.

Hi,
Why my w960i is too slow for some operations.
Recently i bought one w960i with big expectation but I am facing so many problems with this.For example after I receive some files through blue tooth and while I am trying to save it is showing beam received and BUSY status is blinking. Another problem I faced is while I am trying to update some of my playlist it is showing "Walkman exiting Error code : 3". Also for application ssx3 it is taking too much time more than 2 mins to atleast open it during this time it is hanging too.....
Why all these problems ?..... Is there any s/w updates or any other remedies...

I saw my friend's W910 using those themes that can move (animated) and I tried to download them to my W960. But all the files are in .thm format and my W960 seems to only support .utz format themes. Is there any way for me to use these themes? And where can I download nice animated themes?

N82, 11 Sep 2008see, by read those comments it shows that w960 has a lot pr... moreevery phone has a problem. at least the messaging problem with the w960 is not very known and that's because there's not many phones with that problem. instead you can go to n82 forum and see how different users have already started a club for n82 phones with dead and stuck pixels on the screen. also the no sound in one speaker problem is very common... im not saying that n82 is a bad phone..it's awesome but every phone has problems...n95,n81, k850.no company can make every phone they make free of problems.

Never heard of such problem with sms, must be something with he software I dont think it general behaivour otherwise it would be known. You should talk to your seller and show it to them because its not normal.
