is the camera very slow to capture images? I used a phone with quite large megapixel b4, and it takes about 1 minute to open the camera, and 10 seconds to capture the image =(

Says a lot about nokia's touch UI, don't it? And "finally, you're back"? Have you been waiting for me to come back online so you can argue with me? Wow, I wish my life was as fulfilling as yours...

I was a nokia user, it's my first time to have a Sony ericson cellphone. So I'm a bit lost.

How do I know if I'm using the WLAN instead of GPRS.. because I'm worrying about my billing this month. Whenever I use the opera, i don't have an option whether to use WLAN or GPRS.. normally, GPRS would run as default. And also I'm not sure how to disable it.

                              NEED HELP!

Anonymous, 28 Jun 2008And another thing is that se decided to split the multimedi... moreThe marketplace is all about choice - this is why we have the different series of phones; W series for people more concerned with music players, the K (and now C) series for people more concerned with the camera. The multimedia has always been seperated in SE phones. Walkman phones DO have a 3.5mm jack, it's on the end of the cable for the walkman headphones. Sure, it would be more convenient if it was on the phone but anybody who can't put up with a little extra cable is just nit-picking. Yeah, the absence of EDGE is a nuisance for those that have coverage, but 3G is a higher performance network standard and is more widely available globally. It's all about making it financially viable. If they were to put in EDGE, 3G, the flash drive etc the price would be too much to realistically expect the device to sell in the target audience. As for the card slot issue - I can't really argue with on that one. It's really useful for data transfer. I'll admit that it's not a big deal for me because I don't particularly need it, but it woulda been nice.

And you said that se960 was announced before n95gb. And as far as touch ui is concerned, uiq is not a key player there. S60 touch ui will be a major compititor for the touch ui title. And do not avoid the memory issu i originaly asked.

As for competition - where are nokia's touch UI phones? have they got any currently available? Nokia are way behind there. The truth is, competition is such a fluid thing. Back in march it was announced that samsung had developed the first 8mp camera module small enough to be used in a phone, yet now we see that the first 8mp camera phone is gonna be SE's C905.

And now they are bringing the g series. Whats the point behiend this? We saw nokia producing smartphones with top class camera and xenon flash. I thought G900 will be a mix of all, but again it is not. It does not even has a 3.5 mm jack. Plus one major problem of se phones is that they does not support microSD cards. Buying m2 is not a good option for somebody like me who is not a fulltime se user. You might say that all these features in one device can make it very costly, but n96 has most of them. Maybe se can add these extra features by reducing flash storage and adding a micro sd slot. And the worst thing about se is the absence of edge. Still 3G is not available everywhere. And best quality edge gives 284 kbps, which is a good figure even in 3g standerds. Now what's your opinion on these topics?
