erm nope music playback shows w960 going for just over 7 hours and the n81 for 10 hours.

Revenant, 21 Jun 2008Can anybody out there give me a run-down of opera mobile 8.... moreOpera mini is made more for browsing through a slow network, like gprs, as all the sites that are loaded in Opera mini are reformated and resized by the opera server so it loads faster on the phone. Opera mobile on the other hand doesn't do that, and it renders sites right on your phone, so it's slower then opera mini, but it also does have more features and functions then opera mini. And also opera mini is a java application and opera mobile is a native uiq application that runs on the phone. So I would use opera mini for browsing the internet, but if you need to lets say download something, or are browsing a site that has 3gp streaming then I would use Opera mobile. You will see a few other small things, that are different when you use opera mobile and opera mini.

Its almost the ... moreOh yea, also the w960 has 8gb memory storage and the G900 has only 160mb plus it has a memory card slot which you can use up to 8gb memory stick, also I don't know if a memory stick allready comes with the G900, because the 160mb is built in.

I have tested this by having the pone turned off when the alarm is supposed to go off and the phone didn't turn on. So, yes the phone has to be on for the alarm to go off, but if one of the reasons you wanted to keep the phone off because you would have people calling you durring the night then what you can do is press the power button and instead of pressing power off, go to flight mode and that way no one will be able to call and also can save some battery life.

Its almost the ... moreIf you look at the specs of both phones and compare them, you can see that the G900 has a better camera, the interface is somewhat updated, better wifi, since it supports 802.11g too and w960 doesn't, other then having different look, improved battery life on the G900 and a bit smaller screen the w960 and G900 are about same. And as I read the updated version of firmware for G900 will include the new opera mobile 9.5 with flash lite, when it comes out.

I have just got this phone today. i wanna knw how to connect to internet on this phone? I have tried writing a text message as this phone has handwriting recognisation, but i wasn't able to do it...can someone help me on the same...

W960 has a bigger screen, and you can be pretty sure that the sound quality will be better as well. The G900 has a much better camera, as well as better wi-fi capabilities. Personally, I'd choose the W960 coz the music player is the most important feature for me, but I guess it depends on what you're looking for. Hope that helps...

I've been using this phone for almost 6 months now.. great features... huge space... nice contact pictures... but VERY SLOW! I've been a SE die hard fan but I'm beginning to dislike SE phones cause the processor used on SE phone is so much slower than Nokia phones... I wish SE can really put more powerful processors in their phones.. W960i is a big dissapointment for me... might get a Samsung or Nokia phone next until SE put better processors in their phones..
