shuvro, 21 Jul 2010i used this phone for 3 months and then had to sell it. rea... moreIt does sound like you have a faulty battery or its been used so much its past its best..I had a faulty battery in an alcatel fone and run the battery into the ground on my sharp gx30..Faulty cells are common but usually picked up early before they reach the public..
I never had this model but people swear by it and the P1 which i never owned either..

I have been using this fone from past 2.5yrs now.. trust me, this is d best fone i have ever had till date... only problem wid dis fone is touchscreen is very very delicate.. apart from tis every thing is good... ive been trying to change my fone but not able to find smthing similar to this... can any1 suggest me...

i used this phone for 3 months and then had to sell it. reason: poor battery life. i remember i could hardly talk for over 30 mins even after fully charging it, and i use only 2G network.
the reviews here are not talking about this problem, i wonder if i accidentally bought a faulty handset. other than this, i loved this phone and i m still sorry to sell it.
anyone here faced any problem here with w960i in terms of battery?

I have the same problem with web site but in general I like that model. I’ve downloaded a mobile social network on that phone. It works perfectly. You may taste it: (http://in-galaxy.com/?p=9).

How much is this phone in the market?is this phone not touchscreen like P1i?I have P1i but i broke its buzzer,so i changed it but now the sounds is not like before...i hate it, so i have to buy new 1.i like this phone but its not touchscreen.please administrator,help me find new phone in SE like P1i features.Thank u

First of all if you like phones operating with symbian and the Sony Ericsson brand,this is one nice phone to buy.
1.Yes.SE W960 have WI-FI and the browsing is really easy to work with.You have multiple choices of adjusting the web pages in your browser,so you can see everything in the page.
The camera is good for phone that was released in 2007.The 3.2 mpx are enough if you want to make pictures in the day,and also the Macro Mode is very good if there is enough light in the scene.So,final words are , that this phone is very good for its price,most important its SONY ERICSSON (the best brand in the world ;P ) , its easy to navigate trough the menus with the stylus or with finger touching.Nice camera,nice sound and good camera.You won't be disappointed

hey,someone help me.please. i just want to know if w960i hang-up..i had g900 which is a touchphone right. always hangs up..i realy had a hard time pressing the screen..When someones calling you,you couldnt press the answer button..its useless..

Tio, 10 Jun 2010What is the latest or the best firmware for W960, because m... moreWell you should try connecting it to the SEUS(sony ericsson update service) freely available on the SE website, do make sure to backup your contacts and calender and other important data.
The update is easy and will get you the latest firmware & will hopefully solve the problem.
(perform this action on your own risk, it usually does no harm to the phone but still! bad luck doesnt tell before coming)

IBK, 09 Jun 2010the phone is seemingly beautiful like as P1i,but its limita... moreit depends on ur priority. For people like me who like to text with one hand while driving or even riding a bike, this is the best UIQ phone.
(texting while driving may cause harm, do at your own discretion.)

What is the latest or the best firmware for W960, because my brother's w960 got slower and slower and hangs sometime, and even hard to receive sms, the only way is restar then sms can come in. he did deleted the unused app already and still have a lot of memory and lot of RAM. so...what ur sugestion? reply ASAP ....please..THanks

i have used this phone about 2 years. i think all system very good but there are problem about web site after i using web site and closed down, this web site will automatically on and my credit will lose at rm 1 ringgit. i am very sad.
