The camera is not just an add-on. It factors in the price. It's a 3MP camera not a 1.3MP. If the phone is going to cost 520 US dollars, it should have auto focus and flash for night shots...enough said!

I hate to say this "Love it SO Much"....can't wait any longer time....just Perfect music Phone! Sony Ericsson is the king of the music phone. PErfect...Ck..ck..ck..ck....

everyone can agree about one thing on this phone- it's headset. the problem with it is it's a giant box that hooks onto the side of the phone which ruins the way the phone looks, it looks like a giant tumor on the side of the phone. Sony really should consider putting 3.5mm jacks on their new walkman handsets.

i like this phone, but no flashlight no wifi... y think w960i is better than the w980

can't get enough of this phone. with the phone i have now (motorola w375) whenever i'd be stuck somewhere i'd have to have my headset in order to activate the fm radio, which was a pain in the butt to carry around. Now with this SE w980, not only does it have awesome features with a sexy design, they managed to put a BUILT IN fm antenna and fm transmitter. I don't think any mobile phone company has done that. Can't wait to get this phone, idk where i heard it from but it think someone said it might cost $300 when it comes out in july due to the demand for it.

I think that this phone is going to be one of the hits of this year. It´s a incredible phone, with long memory, good sound and right size. Sony Ericsson rules on this market.
