1.flash it using A2uploader ?
2.take t to SE service center?
I have not tryed them yet ,for number 1 because it's kinda dangerous and 2 is what I'm ganna try but I'm waitting for my exaams to finish.

I so wanna buy this phone. Luckily i went through the following posts and discovered that this mobile has software issues too. I had a brand new W950i which stopped working in a month or so. Could never powered it again. Tried 1 million things but nothing worked. Even wrote to sony ericsson. Nothing worked. people just be careful, look for all the flaws it has and then go for it if you want to. peace!

but i cant find any phone which can beat this phone in the available price tag..
please help me suggest some alternatives...

I'm overseas now in a snow storm and tried taking photos this morning. I saw the pink tinge issue which (I think) a HTC suffered from. It's gone now, but I think it occured due to cooler temperatures (-12'C). Just something I thought would be good to share.
The newer firmware does seem to make the navigation using the external screen slightly laggy. But that is the only issue I have. Everything else, including the visual bugs which I ain't too happy with but is copable, are still there with the new firmware, so unless you are having issues, I wouldn't recommend an upgrade.

I got this phone for Christmas. It works very good. It has an sightly older firmware, (R3DA028) but since it works I am not updating it for now besides I cannot determine how/what the latest firmware would be better (Anyone know?)
It's very attractive and has all the functions I need, FM radio, FM transmitter, mp3 player, and camera, a few games and applications.

I have been a big fan of this cellphone whenit first came to market, but now I have doubt choosing between W980 and G900 which even is a cheaper phone, and has touch LCD. (and even a better camera).
Has anyone experienced using both of these cellphones?
Which one is better in software and internet facilities?

Hello guys I bought this phone on 8\8\2009 but there was somtin' wrong with the software so I had to update it a week after so it worked two or three weeks later it got turned off in it's own so I couldn't turn it on again until I updated it and again three weeks later it happenned again but this time I cant even update the update service never starts after downloading the software ,so I'm totally helpless and without a phone ,so please guys any idea might be just what I need and I dont have cusmtor service in my country.
for who wants to buy it I DO NOT recommend it be aware guys.

also it does not tell me my credit anymore after a phone call or text meassage as it used to .

But still, I dont think u should buy this, Ive had mine for little over a year, and I recommend that u find another one.
