this phone actually is not that bad, but keep auto restart if you on too much program.

It's quite a great phone actually. The only weakness points it has is that typing messages is not that easy because of the heavy head it consists of. But still it's a great phone. Packed with motion gaming sensor. But mine was just screwed up, sent to warranty after 3rd day of using because the ' activity menu ' button was screwed. Bad experience but still it's a great phone!

It's quite a good phone, I just bought one yesterday on a affordable price (about $197usd)
If you are a music lover, this one will fits your need to a decent clam phone.
The main LCD and keypad has a glossy finish, so its quite fragile and prone to hairline scratches.
The OS is having a hiccup, sometimes, but never bothers me at all.
Camera is mediocre - since it is a music phone.
All in all, a great music phone and a decent phone in one.

This is a beautiful phone, i will soon be the proud owner of one......but if anybody from sony ericsson is reading this, i would greatly appreciate a reply.......all i really want in my life is a FLIP WALKMAN PHONE WITH A CAMERA WITH AUTO FOCUS AND FLASH, is that too much to ask for? This phone would have been perfect if the camera had these specs. oh and if the camera was placed right above the external display....thanks for reading, please reply sony ericsson people.

maria, 26 Jun 2009I'm so thankful! I heard that the battery life of W980 to be rather poor. Also, like far too many SE phones these days, the W980 is subject to software glitches including random freezing and shutting down. Is this true?

but make sure tht those all phones hv 240*320 pixels otherwise they wont look good but phone will still accept.
all mid range and high sony phones hv 240*320 pixels
