So,da eq can be control through da stereo speaker....dat is da unique...with suround sound....
N ,u can make ur eq by manualy...
But sadly..da w595 cant do it...same as w902 ,w760 n w705.
..vary pour speaker....

merp, 27 May 2009there is no shake control, AT ALLpress and hold walkman key and shake while flip open.
when flip close press and hold play button and shake.

I have read, you can set the equalizer, from the speaker. is that right.
but i dont' understand, how do you do that, or what's so unique about it..
i have plans to buy this phone, and i was wondering, about this feature, how do you set teh equalizer from the speaker, how? lol any recommendation for which color i should buy it in?
and i should not under any circumstances update the software right?

Anonymous, 25 May 2009I had the same problem and warned people about on this site... moreit depends on yr nation.
Or u can flash firmware(FW) which has Fm tran... I think original (before u update) still has Fm trans...
U can search on google to flash FW back on original.

I strongly complained to SE about but they just say.....it is gone and never come back anymore.I love this phone very much, special bought it for the transmitter but now......it is gone and never come back anymore.

anybody know how to keep light effect forever (orange light, when playing music).
Because it just flashing in nearly 2 minutes and turn of.
W850 can keep light effect with trick.
I hope w980 can also do it.

hi does anyone know what is happening to my w980. i recently updated my w980 and i realised the fm transmitter function is gone. before the update it wasn't like this!! how do i retrieve back my fm transmitter function?? or can i reverse this update process? ;( thanks

While playing the music, you need to press the small walkman key (small key with walkman logo - just above key 1) and shake.
PRESS WALKMAN KEY AND SHAKE to change the song.

decent phone, average looks. walkman section works well.
however, poor reliability, crashes at least twice a week, often if you recieve a call when using the phone for anything else.
sound from walkman without headphones is very poor (i had the w810i before this, and it was much better)
and when calling the sound can distort somewhat.
overall opinion, not bad, but could have been so much better.
