Hey man ,this is a phone,with priority 2 music lovers,not maps and gps lovers,this phone is the logical heritage and progression which started ,with the walkman mobile tapes players,then discman ,mobile
Cd players.thanks 2 SONY,worldwide recognition for years!
There are more music lovers,than gps /maps lovers (does this club exists?) .3.15 megapixel ,okay but w950 had no camera at all.
Psp,ps3,Bravia,w980,Vaio 1 whole family!!

Might be dazzling...but it has a pathetic screen size of only 2.2 in. and no GPS, no card slot to hot swap media, nor TV-out. Thats stupid to leave out in a supposedly high end device.

It looks like an mp3 player , but which hides a phone inside .The main interest is the nicely designed control buttons on the front cover,(no need 2 use keypad) ,its lighting must look greeaat in total darkness.
A 2.2 inch screen large enough 2 watch your favorite pics (photo-net.com) ,accompanied by an 8g memory ,my w700 - 1g & 2g cards already full of stuff .but about the lack of lead flash,u can download & use the disco light application & selecting white light ,thus making your screen act like a torch in the dark.
And last of all,this beast,is based on Sony Ericsson's java Platform8 (JP-8), supporting Mobile Services Architecture (MSA)jsr248 ,the next generation ,JAVA umbrella standard .

Looks like SE have done their version of the Motorola V8/V9. A better battery life though makes it a strong contender.

well, i like the design when it flips open... It feels like very different and more futuristic than any other W series...
unfortunately, when it flips close... That tri-circle-for-music-pads are somewhat bothering me...
SE... could you change that pads please....
by the way.. this is a high-end music phone right??? I wonder how much it will cost... I do hope it price at will least the same like W910i (my current phone)...

S*T*U*P*I*D it doesnt need a cardslot because it's internal memory is already 8Gb and you won't need a Wifi for this phone because this phone is built for music...and who needs Wifi heller i have a computer in my house...

it looks better than any motorola razor series (whose keypad surface paint & numbers doesn"t last long) .very nice look & colors. a 2.2 inch screen ,8 gb memory enough,seems 2b better than w960 too.but has no flash,or led ,but overall ,a perfect combination of mp3 player ,cameraphone gadget. but what about the price ??? will it b expensive as the w960 or higher? once again, to the vikings/samourai team ,WELL DONE!!!,cheers .....

I just dun understand why so many ppl concern about the loudness of the speakers, it's not like there's any quality to be talked about, just think about the piercing sound from it makes me sick, ew.....
