Anyway @josh, SE japan corporates with DOCOMO to realease a phone, they do produce gsm phones, but only a few, n japanese dun seem to share their tech with the rest of the world, that's why we're getting nothing here, but we're catching up slowly. one thing though, is that the FM transmitter, clear bass n stereo r gonna be our walkman line selling point for the coming year or two, n i expect no improvements frm it in these two years. any brands of phones in japan has the high spec we still cant par with here, so if SE released such a phone as w980 here it'll b considered as junks in japan, but japanese SE phones r cool, really! The one who put a bullet on keita's head seems so childish. We're just talking about the facts here, the terms "beauty" n "ugly" depend on ppl, not the items, pls be more matured, keita was just expressing his opinion on this phone, btw did we even mention about nokia in the post? it was just u that brought that up, n made nokia sounds worthless with ur words, BTW to the no name, some info for u, nokia tried to release it's phones n compete injapan years ago but faced big failure, dig the news up on the net.

everytime i receive i song i oso 1 2 save in to my comuter???i'm not saying tis phone r not good...even NOKIA oso hav 16GB wif card slot...

I know what you mean then I suggest use a USB to transfer your files in to your computer OK so that you won't complain when "incase" you said that the internal memory is corrupted ok!!!

yes you are right about that, but the SE japan blows every flip phone out there so it is unfortunate that SE japan can't share thier phones due to thier network. but im sure SE will come out with a new walk by the 3rd qrt,

Ugly your face and your just trying to say that because you have nothing to do but ruin the image of sony ericsson and built-up your stupid NOKIA phone which will NEVER happen and not all phone has a small screen and for your information SE has camera resolution, Sony Ericsson is the best not like NOKIA some of their phone has NO good resolution and they are still producing ugly phone with lack of many features and this phone is cool...NOKIA sucks 4ever

SE is so annoying when making flip phones! its sooo ugly and the screen is small considering that a flip phone should take advantage of the upper part for a bigger display haaayz in comparison to the japanese SE models , these are junks

some good n some bad about this phone... 1st of the the good things... is that it has some new features, like FM transmitter, clear stereo clear bass tech and the internal FM receiver,eh.. that's pretty much about the good. now the bad, it has that tiny little 2.2 inch screen, pls.... then there's the photo taking software, believe it or not it cant even take pics in lanscape mode zzzzzz, i dun mind if it doesnt hav the AF or flash, but at least make it possible taking pics in landscape..... they dun hav to integrad crappy camera features in W series just to take care of their k or c series... next the keypad.... plss if there's anyone here that thinks it looks good, tell me. lastly some extra infos for u guys, is that japanese SE walkman phone has a huge 2 inch integrated speakers, mean more bass respond, unlike ours with piercing sound, n their cyber shot has face detection since years ago n they started including the smile detection, oh btw all their phone hav at least 2.7 inch screen.

stupid and non sense comment this phone doesn't already need card slot because it's "internal memory is up to 8GB" and the sound's of this phone is really loud with nice combustion...this phone roks
