the small hole is musicjack.....
u can put ur speakers pin in that hole of the phone...
but the speakers pin shud be of 3.5 mm....

I just LOVE the design of this phone! Really sexy! The UI is really awesome too! And it has some really good specs! Very nice phone!

guys, wanted to ask whether the dock with speakers comes standard...ive seen some reviews where they havent mentioned it coming together in the set...why. and another question...when plugging those speakers with the handset...do the w995 stereo speakers play sound as well or do they become silent.

I owned a W995 for nearly 3 months and in that time it has spent 6 weeks in service centre I used it for 2 weeks after its 2nd trip to tne repair shop and its died again.Sony Australia are complete ars****oles they will not replace the phone there customer relations is terible.
They keep telling me take it back to your repair center after 3 visits you would think they would realise that the phone is a piece of junk and replace it.
I've always had Nokias and never experienced such poor customer relations with them.
DO NOT buy a SONY ERICCSON in Australia if you want product support they are useless ars****oles

I have a comparison between W 995 and Aino , hope it can help
W 995
Advantages:
97x49x15.5 means less dimension
113 gram mean less weight
silver color is cool
small screen means you are less afraid about its break or scratch
better battery due to small screen
w995 known for around 6 months now with good reputation
stereo speakers
walkmate application
numeric keys are well spaced and quite comfy
Disadvantages:
Bulky weight in less dimension
screen small
screen is 256 K
same old software
no touch
volume key not comfy
camera not good enough
no accesories in box
Aino
Adv:
not bulky due to weight is over longer dimension
larger screen
16 M color
its look is cool too
new software
touch
volume key better
camera is better
dock stand and blue tooth accesories
Disadv:
104x50x15 mean longer dimension
134 g means more weight
black colour
large screen mean you will be worried about it to be broken or scratched
less batter due to large screen
phone not known for a long time and not known about software stability
no walkmate application
no stereo speakers
keys don't have space between them but they may be comfy for some
there are other differences as PS remote play and no secondary camera in aino but these are not important for me.
it is difficult decision to choose between both
but i think W 995 as a phone only(without accessories) is costing SE more than Aino (without accessories)so it may have better made quality due to lack of secondary camera
please let me know ur opinion

Could you guys help me with this issue, im trying to get a detailed view on my phoned call list. I phoned the same person 2 twice in a row. I need to know when was the first time I phoned the person. The call list ony states the last time I phoned.

Battery backup of N86 is poor even gsmArnna says that. There is a proof in specification.
Dual slider is an old design. W995 have all music and cam buttons well placed. No need another confusing slider.
I use eBuddy to chat. Symbian is no more smartphone software. Google Android has taken its place. Nokia Symbian attracts virus and removes the data.
Poor Nokia fanboys are still living under the leagcy of Outdated and boreing N series.
N86 is damn ugly.

W995 also have scrath-resistant surface + crystal clear screen n the screen shield is made from mineral glass ^^
Dual slide design...huh??means more wooble n shakeky slider n also the other side slide are useless..
Brilliant SE place al ur 2nd slide function at the side of W995 which more functional...
LOng battery backup N86 1200 mAh Li-Ion(smart fon)
Super duper long lasting battery backup-W995 930 mAh Li-Po(JAVA fon)
Mine W995 last 5 days with moderate use,urs??(N86)2-3 Days i tink...
So....conclusion,W995 wins..^^

guys i own w995 n its browser is damn fast ...if u connect via wifi then its a brezze so fast..n through mobile network browsing is very nice..i browse very heavy sites n download heavy videos ..n it work flawlessly
