So u mean to say each time u returned the loose slider u got the new one back with same problem and yes camera is not all that great but its a good walkman 4 me and one more thing I didn't mean to hurt ahmed I thought he wrote smthing aboUt the phone no question of hating

No ahmed I am not egyptian I dunno what made u think I am an egyptian did u mean in egypt they r selling defective sliders no I didn't buy it there I got it in kuwait n my slider has m2 n 8 1 engraved in it I hope it stays 4 long

My phone's slider is perfect even after 2 months of full-use !!!
Camera performance is disappointing. Images don't look like captured by a 8.1 MP sensor!

Yes i have had a loose slide on a few each time replaced and still the same on new one. Also camera is more like 3 mega pixel and has dreadful purple haze on bright whites. I have certainly seen better cameras. Some SonyEricsson phones actually use Samsung camera modules.

i have had this phone since the begining of august. here are some thoughts.
simple easy to use phone
good sound quality
really handy with the 3.5 mm jack
still slides like a new phone
battery life is excellent. at least four plus days and i use the music on it with headphones.
the video stand is still attached!!
the charger has a double adaptor on it so you can power the phone whilst using the speakers which incidently, are far better than you would expect.
my downsides are obviously going to be looked at but please dont think that this makes it a bad phone.
the camera quality is in no way 8.1mp(you did not think it would be do you) its equivilant to about 3 or 4 mp if that on a normal point and shoot camera. most images are hazy and it does not handle dull days well. remember this is due to lense quality.
the music is good (i have abandoned my ipod nano 3g in favour of this) however, it does not like mix albums. my example is the gatecrasher trance anthems. it will not play right through and there is a brief pause between each track for a split second which is really annoying.
if you use O2, you have to pay for the internet. therefore, you can not use any of the gps, navigation functions etc with out paying which is very very annoying when you think this is a £25 a month phone. by the time you add on the £7.50 bolt on, you could have an iphone (if you wanted an unreliable easy to break brick in your pocket). this issue is not the phones fault though!
do not buy it for the free movies you can download. they dont actually download and nothing you do or try will make it happen. on top of that they are all crap anyway.
media go is ok but if you like itunes, its not as fast though a similar format. i find it abit hit and miss sometimes as to whether it downloads. i just reconect the usb cable and this sorts it.
i would still get this phone again but there is no perfect phone because we all have too many expectations and just have to acknowledge that we are robbed blind by service providers...whats the deal with 24 month contracts now!? what crap. like any phone lasts that long!
