Hence if the network is poor if will affect the battery. However i have been to many websites about W995 and everyone has praised it's battery. This phone is EXCELLENT and WORTHY for your hard earned money. Don't think twice. BUY IT at this festive season.

This phone is awesome! had it now for nearly 2 months and absolutely nothing wrong with it! Great camera, great menu set-up and navigation. I work in a phone store selling mobiles, and I would thoroughly recommend this handset!

Sonies, 30 Sep 2009i must admit that W995 is the best Music Phone i ever owned... moreObviously, if you use MANY of the phone's features, the battery will drain quickly!!!
NO phone, regardless of make/model, will have good battery life if you use many features daily!
To conserve battery life, like MOST of us do, shut OFF those features when you do NOT NEED them!
Otherwise, phone's battery life is good! Phone usage (NOT 3G and Wifi turned OFF)and media player usage ONLY will yield recharging ~3 days!
Too bad there's no other higher capacity battery available!
For example... w890i uses BST-33 but can also use higher capacity BST-40 for longer usage :D

Don't know about Vancouver though. Should be the same as in HK phone stores.
It can also be bought on eBay for nearly the same price, while some merchants ship for free depending on location!

i must admit that W995 is the best Music Phone i ever owned. The camera is just so-so but the worst side of this phone is the battery. Bad like Hell. Having snapped the least 65 photos ( without using the LED Flash ) , making calls ( 10 calls +-2 minutes /call ) and listen to the music ( +-12 songs )...the battery drain like hell. I have to charge it everyday. Even worst if you use internet. Need to buy 2nd battery which cost me RM80 ( original Battery )...Thinking to sell this phone ...:(

My friend just get this phone last week. First time I saw it, it was unbelievable, Megan fox at the background, the phone was on an other level when I saw the PIC! I think, if u had a clue, u should buy it, fantastic look and great applications, very functionel phone, even Mr.Obama got one. Thats the new trend in the tecnological world. Samsung go home, Nokia, See U Next Tuesday :p Ericsson u are not worth it,
