You can buy clear plastic case on eBay from HK dealers.
Takes about ~3weeks delivery. Then put phone in clear case!

Need to do:
1. Use SE's lousy Media GO and tag ALL files with the appropriate album art
2. Drag n drap iTunes files into phone's media card provided that you already tagged the Album art into those files
3. Don't use Album art feature
So... essentially... you use media software to tag files with album art or you don't!

Does it support easy multitasking like the nokia S60 phones? I mean the long press of menu key gives the open items in nokia, does sony support it?

I have my w995 for a little over a month, the "Sony Ericsson" and the "8.1 Megapixel" sticker is still on the back.
And I always take it in and out of my belt clip case..
Has not peeled yet..

It happen to mine too, the Sony Ericsson print on the front is half gone, but the 8.1mp luckily still there. A bit disappointed with the quality for the price I paid for. Have been using a few cheaper Sony Ericsson phone in the pass but nothing happen like these before.
Has anyone got this problem fixed?

please please please can anyone help me? I can't get the album art to come up on my phone. The Visualizations is set to Album Art but when I list the albums there is nothing and when I play the album no artrwork comes up. It's driving me crazy...does anybody have any ideas. Many thanks

Saurav, 02 Aug 2009The whole '8.1 megapixel' tag peeled off just yesterday,so ... moreMy friend.It happened to me too.But my whole 8.1 megapixel tag peeled off.Don't worry the sonny ericsson's tage quality is tottaly diffrent from 8.1 megapixel.The only way to fix it is just changing back cover from on of the Sony ericsson branch.But think about it maybe it will be happen again.

The whole '8.1 megapixel' tag peeled off just yesterday,so my phone has a 0.0 megapixel camera right now.lol. Why SE put such bad quality materials on the back cover? Now I am thinking if the Sony Ericsson tag would peel off or not. What to do,can it be fixed by servicing?

Does anyone know if the screen is different in the w995a? Cnet's review video, in which they use a w995a, claims that the screen has 16.7 million colors. All sites that review the w995 say it has 256 thousand colors.
So is the screen different between w995 and w995a?

the camera quality is just awesome just one step behind c905...
but the speakers ms410 comes with the phone are just mind boggling......
i will suggest a
must buy for w995(black) instead of much sloweer n86............

As many ppl noe,same specification may give different result wen practically using it....
N W995 juz expensive 4 its Quality....
N86 seems worth, but u nid 2 buy the basic application tat other fon had it wen bought....
so, the money u spend actuallyalr exceed ur budget...
Tis is nokia tactic...
Den 5800XM......real CRAP fon...wen u use it,u will noe den...not more tan 1 month,u'll hate it.....

very bad phone. Price is like imaginary. With these specification how can they price it so much. They live in dream. Sink with that price. If anyone has to buy a phone with these specification can buy nokia's n86 , 5800 express music , and other models from samsung. See even n86 or 5800 em are selling by a soft reasonable price. What about this phone so? And why? Adding a little bit money (with the price of w995) we can buy n97. Get well soon se.

Anonymous, 31 Jul 2009Since it's new, why don't you bring it back to phone shop a... morei did bring it back to the store as i only had it one day, the shop did not have another one and seemed to have trouble finding another store with one available, most stores had a few but they were all returns which i think my phone probably was as the screen protector was all dirty, so it seems i wass not the 1st person unhappy with this particular handset!

I recentyly bought this phone and the speaker is good and this phone has good camera quality! you can put many movies in this phone bec. it has 8Gb memorystick
