I have bougth this phone yesterday, and it is very very beautifull.
The design, the voice, and all except there is no guard clip for the camera...

There are much beter phones.
Samsung OMNIA HD is undoubtedly the best phone around!
I'm sure better phone will appear, but for the time being the OMNIA HD has got the better specs and is the best value for money you can get.
This Sony isn't the best phone around.
A repeated lie doesn't make it true!

I bought this little beauty yesterday and I am so impressed with it that I just had to let you know what a great phone this is. Firstly in the box you get a superb mini speaker which goes into the charger port and it is so loud and clear, a real joy to listen to. The earphones are better than previous ones. I have had many Walkman phones and I must say this is the best yet. The camera is 8mp and considering this is a Walkman and not a K cybershot phone, it is also very good. It comes with a pre installed GPS software which is so easy to use. In fact, all of the applications are very user friendly. There are several games pre installed. I like the Walkmate which is a pedometer and there is a quirky voice transformer in which to amuse yourself with! Also has the YouTube client and BBC i player TV and WiFi which is very fast for connection. The Media Go software which comes with it, makes synchronising a doddle and media transfer is easy and quick. I love the fact that you get an 8gb memory card included. I have used almost 4gb already with 250 photo's, 11 short videos, 915 music tracks, so as you can see, there's still another 4gb left. I have really been putting the phone through it's paces over the past 24 hours listening to music, testing out the camera, video, tv, YouTube etc and it still has half battery life left so it looks like it will last a good 2 or 3 days normal usage. The slider appears firm, no creaking or looseness and the general weight and feel of it is just about right. The sound quality is really superb with the correct amount of Bass. I cannot fault this mobile and would heartily recommend to all. I'd happily give it 10 out of 10. The best mobile I've had yet!

the old nokias record in 3gp which is why it looks worse.
just do yourself a favour and stay away from a dying brand. buy the N95. it does more than this and it's over 2 years old

I need your help in deciding whether to get this phone.
I need a good camera and recording on the phone.
Now, which is better VGA@30fps or QVGA@30fps???
I can only compare VGA@15fps (old nokia) and QVGA@30fps (K850i) and K850i wins (too bad everything else in that stupid phone doesn't work), I don't care if it's not a smart phone, I need it to have a good battery and good camera/recorder. Oh, and easy connection file transfer to and from a PC.

I have a very simple answer to your question... the reason why W995 wins in voting results because SE doesn't exaggerate its features and specs... what you see and what you're told is what you get... and much more.

if u want picture quality go for cyber shot.if u want music go for walkman series..if u want both then W995 WOULD BE THE UNIQUE CHOICE..
