yes i know there is no way to know 16 mil colors and human eyes can only differniatie about 1 mil colors, but hey 16 sure does sound alot better than 262 k right? thats moomre than 15.5 mil colors more, even if it eats more battery life (simple the manfacturers are bound to give you a better battery, or example the upcoming LG phone which has a solar panel which allows you to recharge when your outside)
i conclude, SE phones really havent changed too much walkmans and cybershots. cam and music, not much difference in software. and you must say LG, Nokia and Samsung are doing alot better than SE.
what? nokia lost 90% profit , oii they still made aprofit right?
and LG exceeded there own expectations and made around 200 mil.
but SE lost like 400 mil...
dnt misunderstand, im a SE fanboy and only ever used SE phones.
i think the only way se can make a comeback is to get the SE phones in japan and allow them to come to europe aswell.
like the new SE s001.
check it out, 3.3 bravia 16mil screen, its a slide, (a mix between xperia and c905 (look at picture and oyoull see it resembles the xperia)
8.1 mp with cmos sensor and exmor optics ( just like those used in recent SONY high end cameras).
3.5 mm jack, tv-out, and other crap i forgot.
a waterproof fone which allows you to put your phone in the pool and use bluetooth to use it call people, or better yet, call people while your in the pool.
a smell phone, yes a smell phone, there are scented tags which lasts for like 3 months that you can insert in your phone and it lets of the smell. like apple, vanilla etc.
yes those were more like novelty gags but people would buy them for that.
imo if japan releases it phones out to europe, SE will make a combeack but if not.

It means 16M screen can show 62.5 times more colors shown by 256K screen...
Its the same type found in laptop monitors or LCD HDTVs...

this is probs be my last SE phone, ive had the w910i and w960i yes the walkman beasts from 07 and have served me well.
but SE are really lacking now, they havent really changed imo, so what a 12 mp camera? doesnt really matter to me. all those pixels in that small sensor (imo i dont think it would make too great of pictures)
example this w995. a high end phone in SE portfolio.
2.6inch screen (pretty small in terms of todays phones,)
audio is great, 8 megapixels but suffer same problems as the w902 as said by gsm arena.
video still su*ks in terms of recording and playing.
nothing special but i must say is a pretty good phone.
but i must say aswell samsung and LG is really impressing me.
a projector phone that can play vids as big as 50 inches?
the LG gd900 crystal, with an transparent keypad which is another touch screen. (go to youtube and type in the phone name to see, its really awesome. acts like a mouse to surf the web, it remembers gesture control so you trace the letter M on the keypad and it takes you to your memos etc.)
forgot its name but the solar panel phone by LG.
has a solar panel so can rechage battery from sunlight (pretty neat aye)
even though some of these arent pretty useful and is more of a novelty gag, things like these are people never tried and impresses you.
but SE hasnt really changed imo.
omnia HD can record 720HD clips but this so called multimedia device can only record WQVGA @30fps and they call this phone a video centric phone.
i wanna try this phone one last time and crush my heart to try other phones.
im a big SE fanboy but i guess i have to move on.
im really struggling to ditch this phone and get better phones from other companies like samsung and LG.
but i guess ill give one last try, although i really want the LG arena which is already out and imo, alot better than w995.
guys clear your head, dnt be a no brainer fan boy and stick with that company, actually pick a good phone, imo w995 cant compare to the n86 (i know it looks like sh*t)
but the n86 has so much more to offer compared to w995 and
according so se_inside final retail price for w995 is around 450 euro ( i dnt believe him, but SE does tend to overprice phones) and what? n86 only 350 euro but it has so much more to offer.
no wonder SE lost like 400 mil in Q1.
hope this phone amazes me to the extent ill stay a SE fanboy, but if not LG/SAMSUNG FANBOY HERE I COME

n86 which is better in terms of Camera quality (and wide apperature lens), oled screen with 16mil color, is symbian, dual slide etc is around 350 euro.
and ermm w995 doesnt have all those and is like 100 more euro?
just coz it looks better shouldnt be so expensive.
during these times when theyre losing so much money 2 factors should be most important.
time and price.
just coz your losing money doesnt mean you sell them for higher price, instead you make them cheaper so peolpe buy them. like on tv when a store is closing theyre like 80% off!, they dnt increase there price by like $200
carn SE, even if you 1.1 bil cash in bank, if you act like 09 Q1 and lose 400 mil, each Q
i dnt think ill see new phones from you in 2010,
plz act up and decrease price.

BTW i admit that 5130XM is just one nokia set that beats all SE in terms of audio quality and that most of other nokia sets don't compare well with SE in sound quality
But this is a start and with 3 more XM-series to be released soon such as 5330, 5630 & 5730 which may also have the same audio quality as 5130XM...the future is certainly looking good for Nokia XM-series...
The post was just to make you guys know that nokia has started to catch up to SE Wseries...

well guys i checked the review of 5130XM and what this guy says is true...:(
I never thought that nokia will ever come up with a device that can rival walkman series sound quality...But, looking at the test result Nokia may give apple a run for its money...
It has the best audio quality nokia has offered so far...maybe nokia put a new audio processor that is making this incredible increase in audio quality...if that is the case...there are some more XM series that will soon and they may also have excellent audio quality...

The good things is that HSDPA & HSUPA are embedded. Wherein, no need to purchase Dongle USB modem for high speed internet uplink and downlink.. Definetly may just save USD200-250.
