vga has bigger size than wqvga but if you want to enjoy vga video quality at full quality on the phone screen so the phone screen resolution must support vga video quality (must be vga screen resolution too).Because this phone use qvga screen so wqvga is good enough and if it has vga video so vga video is useless for qvga screen resolution.
