I am looking for this phone through the Vodacom outlets but all of them have been saying it's discontinued. I am in Cape Town Northern Suburbs. Where did you get yours? I even made enquiries at the Jhb international airport when been there 2 weeks ago, but they have not even replied yet.

just bought the phone, its working perfectly but I've noticed that the speaker on the top is much weaker than the speaker in the bottom. also sometimes I cant hear the voice from the calls, its so weak, but that happens once in a 2-3 days. any idea how to solve those problems ?!

Hey guys........dis phone just rocks...........
I have been using dis since 6 months n dis wat i have xperienced.........
-The best thing in the phone is its music,just awesome.....even though in the audio test some phones prove to be better than this,but believe me they can never compete its audio quality, the bass effect in the phone is the best i have heard till now....n hpm77 headphones r just superb......all this because its a clear audio and clear bass phone.....n 3.5mm jack is just a treat.....
The stereo loud speakers r also very clear and loud....u will njoy listening to music through them..
-The 8 mp camera is also very gud....but when u use it in auto settings u may feel dat the colours of the photos r a bit washed out....so to get the best out of it , use it in "Daylight mode" camera setting instead of auto mode setting in "White balance". The camera flash is strong enough to take photos even in very dark places provided that u have to increase the brightness a bit before taking the photos......
It has also got a secondary video call camera..... The video recording of the phone is also very good with upto 30 fps recording......
-The display of the phone is large and colourful,the light sensor irritates a bit though. even though its a 256k one , u cant differentiate it from a 16 million colours display at any point...
-The battery backup of the phone is too good. For a moderate user it can run for 3 days and for heavy user, 2 days.. frankly, i dint expect this coming from sony ericsson......
-The user interface of the phone is very fast. dont know whats the hardware inside it but it runs as if it has got a powerful processor inside it.... again this is another surprising thing from sony ericsson as before its phones used to be very slow......
-The internet browsing on this phone is also fast enough for day to day browsing..........
-The phone comes along with plenty of memory as it contains an 8 gig m2 card in it.....thanks for that SE, otherwise we would have got stripped of buying an 8 gig m2 card.........
-GPS on the phone is also good.......
-The phone has got many small but useful features like, the flash can be used as a torch...the shortcut music keys and walkman player key....the kickstand....
-The build and slider mechanism of the phone feel solid..........
-And one more feature dat no other phone has....u can open music player while transfering(even while sending) files through bluetooth.....
All in all this phone is an awesome one. I have used many high end phones till now but this is the best phone i have ever had........
So dont think guys, just go for it........

husny, 20 Sep 2010does any one who possess this phone exprienced some weird b... moreThe consensus seems to be that SE got it pretty much spot on with this phone. I've had mine 9 months now and haven't had a single experience of it switching off or freezing. The C902 I had prior to this had all manner of problems at first, but even that was cured by updating the software.

does any one who possess this phone exprienced some weird behavior. such as restarting phone (phone suddenly shut down and turned on back by itself). because, i owned a w910i model and it always acting like i mention above.when i asked this to a friend he said most of sonyE phones has this kind of problems... if thats true, how to solve it?

been using this phone for alm0st 1yr..
No regret for having this.
Beside ive been m0dified this in its utmost perf0rmance.
+ m0ded main menu + m0ded walkman 4+ m0ded camera and ac0ustics + developer certificate..really l0ve this ph0ne.

Ive had this phone for well over a year and its pants comppared to the handsets available on the market these days, you can pick this up in an o2 store at the minute on pre pay for £149.99, Good price for the handset i may add but definately not on par with whats available today if you spend a bit more money obviously.

emcee, 17 Sep 2010hi.. may i ask if this phone can play its music via bluetoo... moreyes it can play music via Bluetooth.... it got A2DP( Advanced Audio Distribution Profile ). Perhaps its more excellent via Bluetooth than wired hands free. I am using MW 600 Bluetooth headset with my W995......the clear Bass clear Stereo is a treat for those who consider Music as their Life Blood. You have to experience to believe......SE is Great...Walkman rules.
