sonylover, 29 Jul 2010Hi Mahendra.I tried all of ur suggestions, but still it cou... moreIf your phone doesn't find your own Wifi SSID (the name of the connection) and you only see the Access Points of your neighbours, that's provably because you are using WPA2 encription algorithm. Sony Ericsson's phones can only connect to wifi connections encrypted with "WEP" or "WPA", but not "WPA2". WPA2 is safer thant WPA, and WPA is safer than WEP. I would suggest that you configure your your Wifi Router to use "WPA (Personal)" (not "WPA (Enterprise)") and AES as the encryption algorithm (is safer than TKIP).
Also make sure the you have the "Broadcast SSID" enabled, otherwise you're gonna have to configure the connection manually since the SSID won't show on the phone's list.
[Note: you don't have to modify any settings on your phone to try what I explained above, only your Wifi device]

Google map can locate your position using GPS is free but can not download the map details of your current location when not connected to GPRS network.

Your problem is due to your service provider ........
i.e if you have taken your phone from t-mobile, then this thing is a problem in the software put in the phone by the service provider..........
