While the Xperia Go will be coming up soon, I think I will be sticking with my Active for quite some time because it has proved to be really good with attending to my everyday needs. Plus, the Xperia Go will have the same screen resolution as Active. Yes, SAME resolution. Meaning you just get a larger display but the pixels will well be the same. I'll wait for the next next iteration of Xperia Active before I will upgrade I think. That'll probably come in 2013 or 2014.

MOTOROLA ... moreWhat a lie! I own a Defy+ and the battery never gave me 2 days of usage, but 12-20 h. Medium-high usage makes Defy+ eat the battery in no time: 5 h of usage if download 200-300 Mb of data through 3G.
I want to sell my Defy+ and buy Xperia Active because of its wet fingers tracking technology. I'm sick with Motorola's locked bootloader policy.

Awesome phone, I had a iphone 3g before this and when they stopped supporting it I decided to go Android. I take it in the pool with the kids, dropped it loads of times, camera is top notch, great panoramic shots and music is good enough for my needs. The screen is small and a bit fiddly, that is a compromise that is worth being able to easily pocket it. I love this phone i can use it one handed pretty much all the time and the battery is fine if you know what your doing i.e. you have installed easy battery saver, although it does require regular charging. I paid 550 SGD for this phone in a sale and recommend it to everyone - Waterproof rugged smart phone for less that 600 is a must have.

Buy MOTOROLA DEFY+. ! Battery is bigger 1700map vs 1200map Sony.

Sony Xperia Active is an extraordinary device, its quality and performance's obvious above its price .Is versatil, has the originality and works flawlessly, has all the main connections, BT, Wifi, GPS(where you later can install an andoid based GPS software, like IGO, and works very well, the processor seems to deal well with the software, I tested). Recharged and linked with an microusb port, is linked with the present time (many new android based devices and not only, share microusb). The screen is responsive, works very well and smooth. Plus it has water proof and water resistant, wich makes it suitable for people working in wet conditions, and for it's durability, for active people, in hard conditions also, like extreme sports. It is an excelent built device, and althought is water resistant , is a very good audio player, loud and clear. Linked with an Sony MW600(no publicity) bluetooth device you'll have an very good moving freedom and excelent quality of sound. I'm very happy with my device and I'll recommend anyone who's active and want tiny compromise between versatility and performance.
