I can't imagine where the in... moreUmm... well loads of people use gps to track their exercise and people also take their mobile phones to gyms where they can be exposed to moisture (try doing anything with a touch screen when you're all hot and sweaty after 30 minutes on a cross trainer and you'll appreciate the "wet finger" feature of this handset).
Then there are those who work in environments where the phones may be subject to dust and / or mositure and there's there growning army of users who have experienced "water damage" to their handsets (the nice people in the mobile phone store don't tell you that even a small sign of water penetration on your phone, which could even come from such innocent activities as using your phone in the rain! is enough to invalidate your warranty)
Rugged phones have always had a loyal following and it's nice to see that the day when you can get a reasonably durable phone without having to compromise on features is coming closer.
(Though I still can't watch flash video in the bath :-) )

It's shame that the Active is specified as having a 320 x 480 screen resultion, which doesn't support flash so anyone with a dream of watching BBC I Player in the bath will just have to dream on for the time being :-)
(The Defy can't do flash either because of its ancient OS).

But it's all a matter of apinnion what phone you want. The Defy is bigger and has some other advantages but if you want a small phone this is better.

It is water and dust resistant. Have not seen a spec like that. So that makes it different. If you want front camera, i think Xperia mini pro provides it.

if no front camera very few people will buy this phone
when we made survey which handset is good or which you want to buy 70 to 80 % people said front camera is must now if there are so many features are available but no front camera or wifi or 3g then what is the use of phone?
if this phone comes with f.c then this phone will roc for sure
