thanks mr.ajmal..i did sort out my prob...never knew arc had automatic brightness feature in it..:P.....and one more thing..can u tel me the names of widget for...1.killing applications 2.battery maintenance...and a major doubt...cant ARC play mkv and avi files...heard it can be done thru apps available..if so which are they..?

should I buy this or wait for the samsung Galaxy R wich has a dual core prosessor and that's cheaper than the arc? pleas reply.

Keep touching an empty area of the home screen. Then you get a add to home screen window. Choose widgets and choose the power control widget. On this widget, the right most button is the LED Backlight option. There are three settings to it. Touch it to toggle between off, automatic and full brightness. Choose your desired setting and see if that helps. Please let me know if it works. Thank you.

Hi! Anyone knows how to set the background screen in the music play mode? I keep getting the silly pic it picks up from I don't know where. Also, I can't seem to do up my playlist as I like. It somehow arrange the music in ALPHABETICAL order! Please help!

Pfft ... morea merc / BMW / audi made in India is still a merc / BMW / audi; the company won't compromise on quality. if you are honest to yourself you'll agree that the build quality of te arc is superior to sgs2. and that being the fact, then using your logic the sgs2 makers in korea should be ashamned of themselves (being trumped by the chinese!)
