Since the T68i I've been a Sony Ericsson fan, had a few minor detours but on the whole I've loved what SE do.
However. I owned Satio and after a few tweaks managed to make it into a half decent phone to add to its fantastic camera. SE let themselves down by using Nokia's symbian OS. I now have an X10 which I love dearly.
Ahead of time I knew there would be three contenders for my next upgrade, the Arc being the one I hoped would be the best choice re spec and camera. Alas, since the release of all three it seems the Arc is lacking somewhat in comparison to my other two choices, Sensation & Galaxy S ll. From what I've read on the other two threads it seems the Sensations camera isn't up to scratch but apart from that the Arc might not be as fast or as future proof as either the Sensation or the Galaxy S ll.
I get a feeling I might not be going for a Sony Ericsson phone this time but if I can be convinced by any of you guys I'm welcome to your opinions.

how can i exit an application properly? is it only by pressing the return button? i'm scared that are too many application running at the background and consume too much batt...

hey... i jz got his phone ytd and i am not sure bout how to manage the application. when i press the return button, is the application properly closed? if not... how can i exit the application properly? I'm afraid it will consume too much batt if i left many application running. any help given is much appreciated=)

Hiiii everyone.....I am having this smartphone but i am having some problems....i've installed nfs SHIFT,UNO,ASSASINS CREED,REAL FOOTBALL2011.....but all of these apps are installed on my internal memory....like nfs shift is using 39MB of internal space.....please tell me how can i transfer it to my sd card....really appreciate user comments...........thnx in advance:)

galaxi s has a beter intrnl memry dan ds.

Crazy_fello, 21 May 2011this phone seems to have very small internal memory... wont... moreIn android 2.3 there is an option to install application on memorycard too. So internal memory wont be a problem.

Ive had this Arc a few weeks and i am not impressed with the camera on it, my w995 was much better. The lack of zoom unless in 2mp(RUBBISH)and can't in video mode. Take a photo even being close to something and then zoom in and it just does not become clear the picture seems soft, hope there is something i can do to change this because i got the phone as they highly recommended the sony camera technology and screen,feel like going back to the w995 :-(

already had my arc, however there is no memo, task, and calendar application like other smartphone, hope there is available application to download.

I got my xperia arc a few days ago maybe almost a week. Its a great phone, but the battery life makes me frown upon it. I'm not sure if most android phones are like this, but it can barely survive a day even without using the internet or playing games in it...you have to constantly charge it (I bring my charger everywhere I go now).
I also hate how the speaker is behind the phone, I wish they were built on the sides (could have moved the camera button since its hard to hold onto the phone when pressing

...but the hardware is rubbish compared to everything else on the market.

any phones expert here can tell me how to change sms notification tone cos i downloaded one at zedge app and set it as notification tone but when i received sms the tone didnt change it still the same default tone...
