Got mine this afternoon, not many where left in the stores in this island but I managed to get one of the last.
Didn't need it because my old SE was still fine after almost 4 years but decided what the hell I want this!
I was a bit undecided because of price and because in the store there also was an Vivaz which is hard to find here and they are also good phones and much smaller and by now, much cheaper but I went for it.
I have to say, it is not as good as people in here say it is, it is even BETTER!
Loving it although still a bit lost with android because this is my first android phone.
Huge bonus, thought it would be too big for my pocket but it is great! Very comfortable in pocket because it is so slim and the battery looks to be powerful enough.

I totally agree that most of time we are ridiculously arguing about the "features" which we can hardly differentiate with our naked eyes. I am sure manufacturers are having a great sales figures by just changing minute details of couple of features. infact i doubt even if they r changing (upgrading) any.
The cell phone technology reached a stage where they r just playing with some minute details. For the past two years there is no evolution. I seriously doubt if there will be any till next couple of years.
What i mean by evolution in this context is that, we have come a long way from brick sized hard key phones to wafer sized smart phones which are nothing less compared to or pc's.
But from last couple of yrs we r stuck here fighting for minute details. I wonder what could be the next big change in phones. Is it "wafer sized smart phones to invisible (nano) super phones!!!

but they took money then never send item weeks already, so i try to call and ask them they say not available item... ha...

my samsung galaxy s which is a ... moremy SE W980 which is much older than your boring samsung and not even a smartphone also as 8GB and it is more than enough... so don't brag about having it first ok?
Then again I also have an N97 with that waste of space 32gb and have to say that even for today's standards 8gb is plenty enough... or did you need more? LOL

this phone is very good, I admit not great or classic. yet. this phone has everything! the screen is superb im still trying to find fault in it. but its the little things that get me with this phone. The lack of silly things like auto-brightness have let it down but then its the like details that put it in a class of its own.
Lets talk about the hdmi mini port, the Sony 4'2in, the bravia screen, the more then good video camera, the second mic to capture video better and cancel out background noise and the more then comfortable grip of this beauty! its so sexy I wanna make love to it and it does everything.
Now as I said I admit it does everything wrong aswell hardwear wise lol eg. memory, ram, processor, dpi rate and camera (its just not spot on but is very good none the less), and is very current in the world of phones. I mean were moving into a duel core world Sony and this phone will not make it unless the updates are very spot on cos you dont want this phone to be left out on the 4.1 updates.
Saying all that i love this phone it does everything very well and is a treat to own. I love showing off the hdmi videos lol. Well done Sony on a beautiful handset which is very current but this is not a classic. The only people who will get are phone lovers like myself who just love beautiful phones and are always changing.

The camera is spectacular and if you actually took any photos with it you would see that it is very high quality even though its only 1.x mb. The single core processor is more than enough to handle 90% of the tasks you throw at it (besides playing youtube at 1080 like the SGS2 can). Furthermore, it does it without your pocket burning up. The atrix is constantly around 33-36c while the atrix is only around 25-30c under normal use (ie. not gaming). I will admit that it is not futureproofed, but, as of now, i would pick the Arc over any dual core any day. Finally, the design is so attractive, unlike the rest of the dual core phones which stick to the same tired 4 capacitive button layout...lame.

this beautiful looking phone and i would like to add the following general comment to all the good people in this forum .
1- before purchasing ny mobile phone check weel the supplier that you are buying from meaning thr supplier track history
2- check whether the supplier has really a customer support .
3- check whether the supplier has a service team and are able to repair and replace faulty phones .
4- check the web site of the manufacturer and see whether the site can provide maximum help and support
dear friends belive me its not only the phone that you are purchasing also you are purchasing the one year warranty which should be worth it to be considered .. sometimes you get the best phone in the market and your area/town / country supplier would not be able to provide after sale service
usually i would love to have the brands in the country that i reside that have good company and service trained team ,,,

a beautiful and so sexy handset, but it keeps on restarting by itself.. I just hate it.. i did a restoration already as advised by sony ericsson support but still my beautiful arc keeps on restarting.. any help will be greatly appreciated.. thanks in advance
