Best camera? Android phone? Are you insane? Camera takes c*ap pictures, 1.X mb in size, lacking detail, full of chroma noise/ And also 1 core cpu. fail. Arc is only about its design, really!

This is my opinion :
This is indeed the best looking device I have ever seen! But this is not strange since It's a Sony. What's even better is that the 8 mp camera with the new sensor will keep the X10 successor the best android phone and camera. So this device will have a brilliant camera, stunning display, the latest version of android plus the sexiest design you could ever get!! I don't think it could get better than this, but wait let's not forget it's a Sony which means you will still get the premium and classy feeling while holding it. Brilliant job SE! I am indeed impressed.

[deleted post]That is rather strange... all my friends with X10, and X10 mini or pro are very happy with them and do not have hardware problems.
Well being it only 5 months older you don't need to worry as warranty takes care of everything.

[deleted post]go to sony ericsson.com choose your phone x10 go to software downloads and update service, you can update your software , and possible correct the issue , or call sony ericsson support , do you have atnt or the x10i international version , you can send the phone in through sony ericsson under warranty if you bought it from a reliable source , they may have you send in proof of purchase

hi friends, lets forget sgs2, its a great phone. We are more interested on arc and thats why we are in this forum. I wanted to know if anyone knows the dates for fb integration update coming to arc? A friend having a se showroom said thats its coming next week in india.. Please reply.

MP4 format has better quality over avi format even WMV has better quality as Avi format.

De Exmor sensor has many advance over all phones.

The screen from the Arc with the Bravia engine, has alot more reality colors/depth and sharpst in all phones. The Bravia engine is advance feature, non single phone can't compate it.

it has been a while that we can see these nice discussions on forums about opinions for phones and recently the competition is between Arc and G2
I always say that I am a big SE fan and I have so many phones in my collection but let be honest for a while that G2 has more advanced features that the ARC
let me tabulate my thoughts :

1- as both mobiles has the same size , many of the normal people that do not understand the technology in depth will purchase the cheapest one and also the most beautiful one .
2- its also depends on publicity and reputation , and usually normal people are driven to the brand that proved by years that offers the best in all aspects , such as service , approach and brand continouity.
3- as SE fan I love so much Samsung phones also and let be honest that this competition among phone companies makes this industry to blosom and be as it is today ,,, imagine if there wasnt any competition then ther would not been this extreme efforts to have the most advanced pproducs as we have tooday .
4- SE Arc has many features that makes it inferior to Samsung G2 and this is my opinion depending on my requirements on the phine usage .

please , please let us stop these childish fights over same subjecs over and over again and let us appreciate that the technology has reached to hights that made the world a better place ,, not to forget thhat all mobile companies have contributed to this industry and all to be appreciated for their efforts

Secondly....why are you keep talking about the future??? It's the present that matters! And in the present there is the unanymous oppinion that G2 is the best! The interest on Arena on G2 is huge!!! Arena says that right now G2 has no direct competitor....!!! Last year Samsung dominated with the I 9000 and wave...this will be again Samsungs year!

I dont care bout your phone.
Best indoor browsing=vaio series
Best indoor gaming/bluray=ps3/bravia
Best outdoor gaming=xperia play/psp(even this outdated device beat your so call superior phone in games term)not to mention upcoming ngp(psp2)
Best phones=xperia arc gr8 features gr8 camera pics even in pitch black can do what other droids do
Doesnt have anything like above=samsung
So guys if they think their phone is like god of all phones(is it just them?)let them be thats all they got

Been using Xperia Arc for 3 weeks now, it's a great phone. elegant design, fast enough for the applications i use, takes great pictures, nice audio. hdmi is a bonus for me. only missing is a secondary camera for video calls. also, its battery would only give you a day of moderate to heavy usage; need to charge it every night. All in all, still a good buy. specially if you are not quite a fan of "iphone-look-a-likes".

Read Xperia arc's review -> It's cam quality is completely perfect, without even a single defect and offering a better sensor in low light while cam in sgs2 has over saturation with some just small problems... cam in sgs2 is great but not as good as Arc.
sgs2 will last for yrs...??? You must be kiddin'... Acer is already going to bring a Quad Core processor(Tegra 3) powered tablet in market in next quarter i.e. Q3 and phones with those processors will even start appearing in Q4 of this yr... So in just 2 more quarters sgs2 will be completely outdated from every ways...

Guys, por pabor, there is no contest between samsung vs se, because samsung is way ahead of se for a very long time now, se on the other hand, had never, has never and will never reach the achievement of samsung, lg , motorola and nokia. SE is the only brand that never tasted the top 3 spot mobile vendor of the world for the record because of the arrogance of the company and its fans!!!

dear all
most of the users of phone will not use even 50% of any phone capabilities
hence if the phone is a single core or dula core , believe me it will not make a big difference to all users .
only people like eldar Murtazin from the mobile - review will find couple of excuses to bash any phone
Arc is great phone from all aspects , and even the price will justify its specifications ,, so now SE has finally made a phone which has value for money.
ok I agree that Samsung is ahead on the processor and screen !!!!! but belive me SE Arc users will not really feel the difference (this iis for a normal user) and not SUPER USERS .
i am reading these articles by people for 2 years now and let me tell you something : I have alsmost 35 Sony Ericsson phones in my collection and most of them are the traditional JAVA based phones ,,, Sony Ericsson JAVA phones are the most reliable and the fastest phone that I have even used ,,, they beay Nokia S40 and even S60 Symbian platforms ,,,, like with w995 and HazeL or C905 I could open 3 applications on the same time plus using thr Wi Fi to run them and they never crashed )
for exapmple I could open NIMBUZZ, SNAPTU , and Vradio all on the same time , were I can chat listrn to music and watch the news and have the phones running normally
so my aim is to tell that even simple phones can do better than expected , so you dont need to make your brains so tired by the processor speeds and number oof cores ,,, these are all marketing to seel more and more phones
I believe that SE Arc is beautifully designed phone that can satisfy all users and please stop listening to all thses reviews that are fully marketting oriented strategies to sell or hit a product
we have become the slave of all these marketting talks and reviews and beleive me the people who wite these revies are highly paid by the manufacturers to promote their products
