saf_ch, 05 May 2011hello guys... i want to buy this phone .. but i m alittle b... moreI would suggest arc for you because Samsung always focuses on spec sheet not on quality i have used galaxy s with froyo it was laggy i was't able to connect it with my pc i did't caught that problem after using galxy for 1 month..'camera on galaxy s was impressive but i missed flash light on many oceasion battery timing was also good.and another thing, i was't able to install many apps on galaxy s from app store(it used to show same error do't remember error exactly now).while i have used x10 it way better than galaxy in terms of quality.

I was using iphone 3gs 32gb white(Airtel locked)until i lost it recently :( . As i restricted my budget to 30k, after hectic research i decided on SE ARC, and its been more than two weeks since i have been using this good looking and high performance phone.

As an ex-iPhone user, i would say that i am not that happy with Arc's UI. Nothing in this world would come to iphones UI. But I wouldn't complain much about it as Arc has got lot more features for very less price when compared to iphone.

Battery lives on for more than a day inspite of heavy web browsing and surfing through mails every now and then. I am happy with the other social networking apps available (Face book app is awesome) on Android market.

GPS works fine. WIFI connectivity-hassle free. Good radius.

Disappointed with the quality of the games and other apps available in Market. Most of them look faded out with lousy graphics.

ARC's Screen is very good, equivalent to retina display. I have seen Samsung's Amoled screen too but didnt find much of a difference which will influence my buying decision.Arc's screen reacts perfectly for any task put on it.

Camera is v.good. Phone just fits into your hand and into your pockets perfectly. Phone is big, it surely is a head turner but not bulky for sure.

I see most people complaining about lack of secondary camera, but for me its not an issue at all as android is still yet to catchup with video calling.

I have finalized on ARC over HTC Incredible S and Desire HD and most awaited Samsung Galaxy S II.

Ruled out HTC duo for their bulkiness and colour. I love ARC silver.

Couldn't wait for Samsung S II as its release date is not yet announced and i needed a phone badly. And the dual core in SII didnt really fascinate me after spending some time on Arc. I was really amazed to see its response time, almost no "lagging" when trying to access apps on the phone.

Touch screen sensitivity is as good as any other smart phone available on the market.

      HDMI works perfectly.

My only concerns with this beautiful phone are:
      1. UI still need to match up with that of iPhone. But this only applies to iPhone users. If you are used to earlier versions of Android OS or if u haven't used any OS on phone before, then this gingerbread will surely spice up your overall experience.
      2. Phone gets heated-up very fast, don't know whats the reason behind this. I wonder if this can be fixed some how. May be the geeks in gsmarena can throw some light on this.

Bottom Line--This phone is worth every penny u spent on it when compared to other options in the market. U will get your ROI :) in next couple of minutes you take this beauty out of the box. This phones worth the flaunting. Arc is beauty with brains.

PS: I bought this phone for Rs.28500/- from Sony center(Hyderabad, india). There are other vendors(unbranded retail shops) who are offering this @ 26500/-. But i had to drain extra 2k just for the Silver colored Arc. Hope this information helps.

Remember some of us have big hands, buttons are there to ensure you hit the right functions.

Next time, try suggesting touch power button. lol
