Hey everyone, recently bought my arc it really awesome no doubt extremely outstanding in design, picture quality,application everything but the point which make me sad and angry is its battery backup, i don't know what SE thought of putting such a fucking battery in dis ph really v'bad battery backup, if someone has found something to get out of this crises please help, done all the basic level setting like lowering the screen brightness, stopping wireless/GPRS when not using,unchecked bravia engine too but didn't work. PLZ HELP !!!!

Hello,
I have a question for those who own the Arc and who also owned the X10 or still own that device: how is the battery life on the Arc compared to the X10i? Is it better or worst? I'd appreciate a clear and honest answer.

For my country, i have only seen a few people using video calls & its weird to be talking to your phone in that way.
The worst scene is a guy holding his galaxy tab to his ear & talking to it.

[deleted post]Fyi, the amoled screen or 'super amoled plus' whatever promotion name is a tech still in development.
You might get a burnt screen within a year or so, so much for the better contrast/vivid colors.
Try to get this phone before bashing, or your comments are just biased.

I bought my xperia arc just a week ago n i must say Really, SONY ERICSSON MAKE.BELIEVE ...:)
superb screen clarity , excellent style, powerful camera with HD superb clarity,superb touch , gr8 UI , overall awesome phone with android 2.3 . only i missing something on this gr8 device is no secondary camera for video calling but i won't mind it. overall its really superb awesome it rocks.... SONY IS BEST :)

hey buddy it has been a week since i have been using my new xperia arc....its a beauty.i got myself the midnight blue one and maaannnnnnnn the booty of this phone iss awesome....i feel lyk keeping the phone upside down and looking at it for hours....absolutely brilliant....and yup i compared the images in the gallery and videos with and iphone4 and other phones......BRAVIA rocks ,,the images look so crisp the videos look amazing..iphone 4 user only told mee "man my iphone4 looks fat now compared to your video and image quality"..its got only 1 disadvantage...the camera button and power button is too small but its the most stylish and gorgeous phone ive ever seen....aybody interested go get this beauty....dont wait for anything else....i guarantee you you will keep staring at this phone for hours after you have brought it....thanks

AnonD-272, 15 Apr 2011I thinks it is very essential to have a video call camera w... moreAs far as I know that in India and the nearby countries 3G networks are just coming, it was similar to my country in 2007 when 3G was promoted by our carriers as video call era, whereas we could enjoy video call trial for about 3 months at the same rate with voice call, but even with this promoting tariff those providers noted that video call wouldn't come to be the main feature of 3G network. Most people took the advantages of 3G mainly for high speed data transfering and live video streaming.
Perhaps SE has also noticed this phenomena, so when they decided to make a slim proportion phone such as arc, with no reluctance omitting the secondary camera, however they provide it onto other phone design like neo.

Anonymous, 15 Apr 2011Being a 3G phone..why it doesn't have a SECONDARY CAMERA?? Being a 3G phone, secondary camera is not a mandatory feature, go visit your 3G friends at their respective home and look at their 3G faces as long as you want for free of charge!
