Prasanth, 11 Apr 2011Got ma own Xperia arc few days back. its usual that whenev... moreRubbish i have tested the Arc for a danish side, i had Iphone 4, Samsung Galaxy s II and HTC HD in the test, nophone runs as smooth as the Iphone, Samsung was the one that had the biggest pack, HTC is the same over and over they are putting phones out all the time and there is nothing much new in there, the Arc is that smooth as the Iphone and Samsung, the screen is great, but the phone is no match for Iphone, Samsung Galaxy s II and the LG optimus 3D.

Cool Dude, 12 Apr 2011Hi Guys, I am planning to buy a new phone. However conf... moredude it depends on your usage if u r a hardcore with mobiles then the sg2 since the only difference is in 1) the GHz its 1.2 in the sg2 but in the arc its only 1 GHz :S 2) the arc is higher in the GPRS but i dont know wth is dat 3)in the camera they have the same resolution but in video recording its 1080p fr the sg2 but the arc is 720p only and of course the sg2 has a secondary camera but the arc doesnt it doesnt matter if u r using the skype my brother has the galaxy tab and skype doesnt work a only voice ;) but the arc looks much better and it has a bravia display and engine so the picture is amazing while the samsung looks like crap XD but the thing u should be sure of dont gt the iphone 4 its useless u can gt an ipod fr less money anyways hope this helped u :D

i really dont know why people are tending to buy this..........no really.
first of all u can buy an accessory pad for a galaxy or iphone and u get bottons easy..maybe it cost like $20-50.
and this phone backward interms of OS...
buy something like galaxy 2 and get an accessory u get best screen + more advanced features.
or go for iphone since most games release on appstore first and then to android store.
in my opinion this phone is for people who dont either own an iphone or android devices b4 and right now.
dont waste money on this.

It should either be a setting on your phone, your service provider or the reception you have in your area.
for your settings it should be under settings>wireless & networks>mobile networks>network mode>
gsm - EDGE
gsm/wcdma - allows your phone to use the 3g network

i love this phone but the only thing i don't like about this set is the color options.Both silver and misty blue are the worst things that could have happened to this set.waiting for white and black color.

AnonD-1082, 12 Apr 2011I guess you missed the last word at the bottom of my post. ... morejaja interesting post.... well i have use every nseries and xpress music from nokia and they areBOring... notice this after I have the x10 wich is in my honest opinion the best phone for internet browsing , outdoor camera and apps I have use in my short tech life... i never been dissaponted with the x10,, thats why I want the arc... everything you hear about short battery life is bu ll sh it, just turn off 3g and battery last almost 2 to 3 days heavy use... symbian boring like the iphone os

I don't really mean what I said about the N8 being a superior device, hence the "sarcasm" at the end of my original post. I like Android and I like messing up Symbian fans. If you go to the N8 and E7 forums you'll find some posts of mine in there and you'll see I'm messing up with them but they don't seem to get my jokes. I agree that Nokia adopting WP is pathetic. They should have chosen Android but their CEO seems like he got some sort of agenda.
Nokia once said that adopting Android is like pissing your pants for warmth. I say adopting WP is like pooping your pants for warmth. XD

[deleted post]Uptill now I've used only Nokia phones. I wouldnt bother being 'brainwashed' looking at the options I've available in Android market. May be I wouldnt use them all. But doesnt Nokia's decision to go for a Win7 look pathetic?
Sony and Samsung has became my favourites now... What do you think guys?

every people says that sony has big price,but se spend more money on design,so they hav the quality.samsung and nokia try to include more specs,but they r made of lowclass meterials.se hav build quality,if u need gud quality phons go for sony.dont buy crapy things for big money.sonyericsson and htc hav gud design and quality.

amazing phone..but i would love to see this phone in white and black color..silver and midnight blue are the worst thing that could have happened to this phone.

A couple of months ago you people were swearing at SONY and praying for their collapse with their SLOW Xperia X10 software update.
So to sum up, people are like mice, always going for the cheese, most of the time getting caught.
I own an XPERIA X10, but will refrain from buying further Sony phones. Reason is simply that their phone support is very bad. Performance wise, it just does not have the response you will want from a high end touch screen phone, and don't get me started on their crappy 8 Mpixels camera. What a joke.
Anyways, enjoy your phones everybody.

Xperia Ark, or HTC Desire of HTC Desire S? Whats best? I had a HTC Desire and I'm quite used to it and like it.. bit afraid to get an ark?
