I've been a big fan of SE since I used T18. Things I regret about SE is they often make inadequate phones such as this Arc. How can an amazing phone like Arc lack of secondary camera ? Else, video recording capacity, RAM capacity... Well anyway, I'm still a big fan of SE. Love you so much. Oya, when will SE make tablets ??? I'm waiting...

some companys in aus arnt getting them as they were called back due to lag in the video and audio couple of seconds delay between them.

Am using the Arc.... Battery life SUCKS!!!! If SE cant sustain the bright display and function, dont overdo and compromise on battery!! If dont have a big head, leave the big hat alone. Nice & good phone but battery have to improve.

I must say this phone is the best android handset I have used. It kills the Samsung Galaxy any day. I don't care about SG2 specs. The quality makes difference. The phone is smooth and fast with great response. Keep it up SE.

By the way I want to point out that people should not be fooled with shiny specs because what really matters is the experience and quality more than anything. This is a good example where LG records in 1080p while the Arc only is capable of 720p yet it wins hands down:

Also, although the Galaxy had 2.2 while the X10 was only on android 2.1 but the Galaxy was so laggy and it needed lagfix from XDA to survive. Again, this shows us that specs are not everything and that even with less specs Sony is performing better because we are speaking about quality here! Something that major players like Samsung and LG still lack.

Well I would love to believe that S/E will have a satio successor but sorry I won't believe it unless I see it! Because I even didn't hear any rumors about it. So, I don't want to get excited over something that may not turn true after all.
I also want to make it clear that I'm not only a Sony fan. The fact is that I totally respect hard workers and innovative people! People that do their best to make a change in their lives, people that make their life worth living. Because their are a lot of people that are living just to eat, sleep, go to the bathroom and that's it!
That's the reason in a crazy tech world where technology never stops, it's really wonderful to find out that there are companies still trying to be innovative with their designs, ideas, technology and so on. They still shine and make a difference.
Auto focus in video mode, the Xperia play idea, the mini droids, the super sharp designs of the X10+Arc all are innovative ideas! And the top quality cameras,music capabilities and the range of colors of Sony products all make them stars among their rivals.
And for that if you want to feel different, unique, special there is no other way than Sony :D

I'm just so glad that Sony is getting back on track :)
I also asked several online retailers here in Canada + US and they told me the most popular phones at the moment are the iphone 4, Arc, and play :)
I always knew Sony had it in them! And they proved to me that. They provided all their new handsets with android 2.3 and with superb features like Bravia displays, Exmor R sensors, great multi touch screen etc etc.. and now they are upgrading the X10 to 2.3
They made a dream come true with the new Xperia play! Yes this is Sony the leader in entertainment and innovation. Keep it up!

Good try selling the gs2 in the arc forum, you can buy your expensive super fast phone, while i will enjoy my beauty. I hope our paths won't cross again, because it some what annoying to see samsung fan comparing in a samsung biased website.

And yeah, as u r saying Lg optimus 3D has the best benchmark scores in dual core phones. It beats down Exynos and Tegra 2 processor. I will call optimus 3D the best smartphone for now.

this is a reat looking phone. nice to hold and its very light. it is selling for 27,990 phil pesos cash but without secondary camera its too expensive.

and is gingerbread in arc is upgradable to honeycomb?
and is arc worth to buy, as its a costly mobile? and pls do tell me disadvantages of arc coz i have read all the advantages. i want to know the disadvantages of this phone

Note: this is the amount of RAM available to the kernel and higher-level system as regular memory. The rest is used for various other things like the radio, image, DMA buffers and surfaces, etc.
